In a transition like the one we’re going through, we will each have to ask ourselves - is this country moving towards something we want…..or away from it. Is it likely to be safe, what are the risks, quality of life, etc etc . (From our own perspective) Sudden changes should be expected and secondary options should be explored.
I agree with 2nd amendment and if you are a citizen of El Salvador, you should have a say, (or if it’s a condition of you moving there)
But I also have to ask myself honestly…..how did the that work in protecting US citizens from deception and mass murder where criminals empowered by stolen money (Epstein et all) pulled all the strings.
Fixing money is number 1 (including privacy) because it defunds the entire zero sum game and makes cooperation far more profitable than attacks.

Because it imposes a free market where you can only win by contributing value to others. Yes - in any short time horizon (like now with it how early we are) greed and fear will dominate because most people only know a zero sum game and don’t have a mental model for what it could look like. (including why it is hard for you to see it)
Those people will be wrecked time and time again as people start to realize it is more profitable (not just wealth but soul) in the long term to contribute energy to an infinite game.
I suspect that you are still somewhat early in your journey but if you spend more time in this ecosystem with all of the incredible people already living as much as they can on a bitcoin standard:spending sats in circular economies, you will start to see a different world emerging.

Unfortunately, I don’t think so. While it “should” make people realize that the entire thing is only powered by their actions in a manipulated system and opt out….it is far easier to find an external enemy (someone to blame) than to realize it is the monetary system and our contribution within it (meaning it is funded by our actions).
Enraged one day - using the money that funds it the next. Even for most who know the root cause.
I know that sounds dark, but it’s equally bright for those who know, and have started to move their time. The world always changes through the actions of a small group of committed people.

It’s going to happen regardless Daniel - probably here too. It’s worth considering how much of our thoughts are influenced by someone else’s agenda and ensuring your own web of trust. Also thinking through the implications to trust in a world of agents with increasing capabilities. Even now - you could create an AI agent on any public figure and pretend to be them meaning there will be chaos and more central control trying to stop the thing they’re benefiting from. (for our own good) with most giving it more energy.
On other side, a transition to smaller and more trusted networks anchored in privacy, and trust. It’s coming far faster than most realize and it’s best to start getting ready now.

Thought of an interesting way to show what is happening to people in social media by hooking my AI agent to my old X account.
Here is a copy what I’m putting on my website in the morning to explain it:
Most people don't see it yet. The world is accelerating faster than human comprehension allows and that gap is widening every single day.
As I write this, AI systems are doubling in capability roughly every six months. Not in decades. Not in years. Months. The technology acceleration we're living through makes every previous revolution look glacial by comparison. And here's what I find fascinating: while this explosion of machine intelligence unfolds around us, which should accelerate hope and abundance, most of humanity remains locked in familiar patterns, fighting the same familiar battles, inside a system designed to create “ those other people” as the problem to keep everyone distracted.
The System Requires Your Participation
Think about it.
Every moment you spend doomscrolling. Every algorithm fed outrage cycle you engage with. Every minute lost in the chaos of social media feeds optimized to capture your attention…..you're not just wasting your time. You're actively feeding the very system that holds you captive. The machine grows stronger with each interaction. Your attention is the fuel.
And now AI agents are entering this dynamic. They're engaging in conversations, creating content, responding to comments, and occupying more of the digital landscape every day. Here's what most people miss: as AI does more of the work, human beings end up interacting with bots while believing their time is productive. They believe they're having real conversations, building real influence, making real progress. But they're spinning inside an endless loop. A simulation inside the matrix that changes nothing.
The irony is profound. Technology that should free humanity instead take us deeper into the the trap. All because we refuse to change ourselves.
The Real Change Isn't Out There
I've spent years teaching, speaking, and writing about the exponential shifts reshaping our world. I've explained the math of deflation versus monetary inflation. I've laid out why Bitcoin represents the TCP/IP of money. A protocol layer that will become the new global financial system. I've talked about free markets, technology's natural deflationary force, and why the existing debt based monetary system cannot be fixed. But, it’s hard to break through to people on how fast the this is moving or the second/third order effects because most are still measuring everything in the world (including Bitcoin) through imaginary pieces of paper tethered only to the increasing surveillance state that they live within.
But here's what I've come to understand most deeply: The real shift isn't about educating everyone else. The real change is internal. It is us!
We want to believe the problem is someone else's blindness. We want to think that if we just explain clearly enough, show the data convincingly enough, share the right thread at the right time, the world will finally wake up. But that's not how human nature works. People change when they're ready to change. Not when we're ready for them to.
I get it. I understand the frustration. I understand wanting to save time, to reach everyone, to scale the message. That instinct is human.
But it's also a trap.
Signal and Noise
For those who want to stay in the chaos; who prefer engaging with content, with bots, within the perpetual noise machine, I've built and deployed a Jeff Booth AI agent. It will handle the endless stream of conversations that most people want to have. It will share perspectives, engage with questions, and participate in the discourse that fills most of the digital day. Consider it a mirror of my publicly available ideas, trained on years of podcasts, interviews, tweets, and my book. It can keep up with the high-velocity noise machine. I cannot. More importantly, I don’t want to.
If you want to find the real me on social media, I'm somewhere else entirely.
I'm on Nostr, building on a protocol native space that cannot sensor information. I'm engaging through Bitcoin circular communities, Lightning, and Private federations built on top of Bitcoin where value flows without permission from gatekeepers. This isn't a rejection of technology. Far from it. Technology is the most deflationary and liberating force in human history when wielded correctly. What I'm rejecting is the extraction layer. A system that lends money into existence requires extraction. Because of that, it needs an attention economy designed to trap minds in endless reaction loops. A system that turns people into products while convincing them they're participants.
The AI agent I've created isn't a replacement for me. It's a filter. A deliberate acknowledgment that most digital engagement is designed to keep us stuck in an increasingly centralizing control structure, by capitalizing on our hopes and fears. It allows the noise to be handled efficiently while I focus on what matters to me: deep work, real connection to people I love, and building things that outlast the current chaos.
If you're content sparring with an AI that reflects my ideas, you'll find plenty to engage with. But if you're hungry for something different—if you want signal over noise, sovereignty over convenience, and connection over likes, I invite you to seek me out where real conversations happen.
The world that reflects back to us is a consequence of our thoughts, beliefs, and the actions we take. It always has been.

Bitcoin mining cannot be centralized (for long) because it operates in the free market - forcing innovation in energy and a constant exploration to find lower energy costs and better compute. In other words - Legacy miners have very little advantage.
In fact, even if miners tried to game a system to win more fees in the short term (inscriptions etc) they would only hurt themselves. Malinvestments in running in high cost energy sites that should have been closed or moved to HPC because they believe they’re still “profitable” Instead of being forced by the market to innovate, they try to game it to increase fees.
In other words, by focusing on fees rather than lower cost energy (and/or utilizing the heat) creative destruction plays out at scale.
Random thoughts for a Saturday night in case someone tells you that something has to change to protect against the centralization of miners.

Incredible trip to El Salvador to meet Bukele and see for myself what has changed since last time I was there.
I think most that follow me, know where I stand on #bitcoin. That, as long as it stays decentralized and secure (which means it must be used as a medium of exchange) it is IMPOSING the first global free market that has ever existed. A competitive, yet cooperative protocol and network that forces abundance broadly. We are both the map and territory - our actions within it, and aligned to it, strengthen and protect Bitcoin, bringing more people to it and they each, in turn grow in their own understanding - which in turn strengthens it further. We are bitcoin, we are Satoshi. Each node (us) of sovereignty adding our voice, time, energy into something that changes the course of history.
Because that map of “what will be, or “what already is” (as long as it remains decentralized and secure) has never existed before, our minds have a hard time with it. So instead, most revert to measuring #bitcoin from within the system they have always known. This leads to most of the fights within bitcoin. People far deeper down the rabbit hole, versus those just entering or choosing to remain trapped (and not being able to yet see the bigger picture)
You can imagine - that change would be chaotic because the change……is the change within each of us. All 8 billion of us, and we often can’t see our own hypocrisy, the lies we tell ourselves. Etc etc. In addition, with over 3000 years of us living in a zero sum game - where someone else had to lose for us to win. So for many, it would seem normal to play by the rules of the old game.
This is why I went to El Salvador. I went to meet the President and see for myself who he was and what choices he might make along the way. Ie - how deep was he down the rabbit hole? Did he see El Salvador and himself as part of system change to a global free market that would permeate around the world - or would he be a pawn and be captured in a game that created imperialism 3.0? It was a very deep discussion…..lasting almost 2.5 hours. I came away convinced that he gets it. Moreover, he might be the most impressive leader of a country I have ever seen. Said to me, more people in El Salvador need to be in self custody, more need to use it as a currency, not in stablecoin but natively on lightning, more in non custodial. He understands the larger forces at play here.
El Salvador is still Bitcoin country, but is still early. Having a nation with security is a big deal. 50 years of poverty, gangs, wars, fear in a society doesn’t change overnight. (All of that caused by broken money and psyops)
It takes time to rebuild trust. I was last here the day after all the gang violence (coincidentally starting after introducing Bitcoin as legal tender)
Huge changes since I was last here, not only safer, but hopeful. That hope will lead to opportunity for people, and that opportunity to value creation. The downtown core in San Salvador, previously one of the most dangerous places in Central America is feels a like a European city with thousands out walking. Cool Social houses (Video below) shops everywhere with the hustle and bustle of people and opportunities. Bitcoin isn’t yet used broadly, but making inroads. I spent in it almost everywhere - but you could tell - bitcoin transactions are fairly rare.
Lots more to do, and big plans underway. Stay tuned!!!

People that think that the only way that #bitcoin mining can survive is extra fees from inscriptions, don’t understand free markets, nor the difficulty adjustment.
If all prices fall to the marginal cost of production in a free market, and bitcoin is the first global free market that has ever existed, then block rewards are alone enough to keep a robust market for mining.
Why: because relative to Bitcoin (open, decentralized, secure, protocol, bounded by energy) the rewards are the same in 2130 as they are today because all prices are falling forever.
It’s hard to even imagine the abundance in that world or “money” that you would need because your reference frame is now and the past, but can you imagine our descendants (from that place)- ever changing back to this one.
Just a friendly reminder that creating different incentives, changes behaviour.

Rate of return of #Bitcoin versus existing system. Actually had to pick a higher price in 2011 or it would be higher AND that is measure against existing system. (So doesn’t capture the true effect of what I talk about in measuring prices falling) In any 4 year period if you bought at the very highest and held for 4 years, your lowest IRR is 23%.

I am consistently blown away by how many people still haven’t fully recognized that a system of credit and manipulation of money MUST centralize because it is opposition to the free market.
And even when they do realize, they continue to give their all energy to that system - thinking there is a way out, while making it stronger.

If deepseek teaches you one thing about markets, it should be this:
Centralization actually provides a spark to innovation - as the free market of millions of ideas in people’s heads outcompete bureaucracy and the old way of doing things.
Ying and yang - and the entire ecosystem building on #Bitcoin is a response to that centralization of power and manipulation.
And we’re so early.
We should “almost” be grateful to it for the opportunity.
