Good question. The Nostr-enabled Hashdash is the front-end for Hydra Pool (https://github.com/256foundation/hydrapool), an open source mining pool that can be configured and hosted according to one's preferences. The instance at dash.256f.org is purely for testing and hashrate donations to the 256 Foundation. Blocks are paid out in full to the 256 Foundation's on-chain address. Other instances could be set up with completely different payout schemes!

The order in which you GRAB them doesn’t matter. But ultimately YOU ARE ordering them when you write them down. So they are ordered when the exercise is finished, yielding 2048 possible combinations, which is perfect given there are exactly 2048 words in the BIP 39 word list.

If we adopt BIP177 (which I already have) and start expressing sats as integers with the ₿ symbol on the left, what’s the best way to handle millisats? Showing them like ₿0.001 feels too confusing right now.

Why I'm for loosening the OP_RETURN limits ⏎
- In practice, OP_RETURN is already unconstrained: see Carman's OP_RETURN bot or Portland's Slipstream.
- Encoding arbitrary data via OP_RETURN is far more responsible than doing so in witness data, as it's 4x more costly.
- OP_RETURNs are prunable and do not pollute the UTXO set, making them vastly preferable to faux outputs that burden every node indefinitely.
- Mining non-standard transactions that bypass mempools undermines decentralized transaction propagation, disrupts fee estimation, and increases block propagation latency (especially when compact block construction fails due to missing transactions).
- This latency disproportionately impacts smaller miners and encourages direct submission to large, well-connected players, widening the profitability gap and increasing centralization.
- Layer 2 protocols are especially sensitive to fee miscalculations, making transparent and measurable fee behavior essential to their reliability.
While I share the distaste many have expressed toward tokens, inscriptions, and BitVM (when used as a casino), I care deeply about minimizing harm to bitcoin’s base layer. Allowing larger, standardized OP_RETURNs is a pragmatic step in that direction.

Okay. Mario Kart: Double Sats now streams you sats in real time for every second you're in first place. This may be the coolest thing I've ever seen. 😭
Thoughts:
- Writing Python is so easy, it feels like cheating
- I don't vibe code—writing out every line is too much fun (plus, vibe coding can cause issues later...? Also, AI can't fully figure out stuff like making this game yet)
- Sending glitches to the game over Lightning (like I did with Super Mario Sats) I have not figured out yet, and I'm not sure how practical it will be
- Who wants to play this with me?! In person first before I put it online

Update for those of you who are interested in Mario Kart: Double Sats:
I have identified the correct memory locations of the players' lap count and position in the race. And I figured out how to access this memory outside of the emulator, using Python. This means I can plug it into my LND node and https://m.primal.net/Pkmo.png get the game streaming sats in real time. This is one of the coolest, funnest, and nerdiest things I've ever done. Will have a working demo this week.

Thanks for the rec. These serverless platforms are great, but as programs are only allowed to execute for about 10 seconds max, they don’t work for continuous apps. So I’m wondering - what is the industry standard equivalent to “Vercel” for persistent applications, if there is one, that will absolutely not hit me with words like “NGINX,” “reverse proxy,” or “docker.”
