I don't know, I have a pretty good idea. And we'll never know. Like I said we can be told all types of stuff doesn't mean it's true. I've had your issue many times with windows installs and my go to fix is always nuke the drive and put Linux on it, then nuke that and put windows back on, works every damn time.
Memory, cpu or mobo might also be to blame.

My WW2 vet grandad would be fuming. TBH he was already angry about the state of the world in the 90s.
He already knew what was coming, as a small child he told me socialism turns into communism then the Nazi show up and you never let them win. Also have a rant about inflation as a very small child in the 80s burned into my memory.
It all hangs with me because he was super quiet and stoic.

Which version? What issues? I'm always hopping distros and testing them on my different machines. Different use cases call for different distros. I love mint but on my gaming rig it barely lasts a few days when I'm testing. I hate Ubuntu........ But it always seems to be on my server. Organise everything in /home and backup and reinstalling doesn't really become a problem.

I used to use newpipe, but found Google was aggressively trying to break it to the point it was unusable.
