Most people reject #Bitcoin without studying it
They think they're smart, so they expect to understand it quickly and easily
So instead of digging deeper after things get complicated, they conclude that Bitcoin is a scam
This is why thousands of hours of study are required
If you don't put in the thousands of hours, you will always have doubts in the back of your mind

Real estate and stocks are a scam but 99% of people aren't ready for this conversation yet
#Bitcoin    will take over both of these markets over time
Real estate is a way for governments to extract property taxes and for banks to earn interest
Governments want home prices to go up so homeowners feel a false sense of security and pay more in property taxes over time
Banks want prices to go up so they can hand out bigger loans and earn more interest
Stocks are a way for Wall Street to earn profits
When you can hold your own assets, you don't need the financial industry to hold them for you and governments also can't track your wealth
How many people hold the deed their house or stock certificates?
Probably less than 1%
This means the financial industry owns our assets and it can take those assets away from us
Stocks are held by custodians and they can do whatever they want with your wealth
GME is the best example of this scam
Hedge funds were shorting more shares than what was in existence
They were intentionally trying to bring the stock to zero to maximize their profits
Real estate should NOT be an investment but we've been brainwashed to believe it is
We use real estate as collateral for debt
The wealthiest people have hundreds or even thousands of units and they are being used as savings accounts
When people buy more houses than they need, they compete with families who are trying to buy a house to live in
This pushes house prices up and prevents people from having a stable living situation
Bitcoin is an abstract concept and many retail investors get angry at the idea of it being widely used as a savings tool

The majority of people save what's left over after expenses

Build businesses in your free time instead of watching TV

The cost of living will rise forever.
But why?
There's a very simple explanation:
The amount of money chasing the number of goods available to be consumed is rising.
Let me give you a simple example:
Year 1: you have 100 apples and $100 in the economy, the price of an apple should be $1.
Let's say because of technological innovation we can produce 110 apples in year 2.
The supply of apples has gone up but the amount of money chasing those apples stays the same.
The price *should* decrease to ~$0.91.
What happens if the amount of currency in the economy increases faster than the number of apples?
What if apple production can't keep up with money production?
Year 2: 110 apples, $120 in the economy. The price of apples rises to $1.09.
I know this is overly simplified and there are a lot more factors to consider.
But as the amount of money in proportion to the number of goods increases, we see prices rise.
When the US government borrows trillions of dollars, what is that money being used for?
If it's not spent on investing in production, PRICES WILL RISE.
Maybe we won't see the impact in the short term, but over the long term, this results in a decrease in purchasing power.
The same amount of money can buy fewer goods because there are more units of currency than goods in the economy.
We are seeing this happen in real-time!
Apples haven't gone from $1/pound to $1.09 per pound.
They've risen 3-5x.
I remember when apples were $0.79/pound and now I see them at $2.49-$2.99/pound.
Today, there are so many ways that money enters the economy, and this wouldn't be a problem if it were used as an investment to increase the quality/quantity of goods.
But it's not.
Instead of being invested, the new money is being used to incentivize a DECREASE in production.
Governments incentivize citizens to STOP BEING PRODUCTIVE!
Social security exists to incentivize retirement (a period where people spend but don't produce).
Tax benefits on real estate are used to incentivize purchasing homes to make money (instead of producing other goods and services).
Billions are spent on the military and this spending leads to death and destruction instead of prosperity (taking away labor from production of goods and services).
This is why your cost of living constantly goes up.
For every action, there will always be an equal and opposite reaction.
When one group gets to make decisions and take action without putting in the work required to make it happen, someone else has to work twice as hard to do the required work.
Instead of teaching kids how to invest, governments offer free money to retirees.
By the time Millennials and Gen Z are supposed to receive social security, the benefits will be worthless because all of the value will have been extracted already.
When real estate investors are told to buy homes because of tax benefits, the supply of homes in the economy for people who want to buy them to live in decreases.
When the military receives billions of dollars to train members on how to kill others, those members are NOT producing actual goods and services that society needs.
All of these resources (labor, raw materials, goods, and services) are taken away from other parts of the economy.
Since you can't print resources but demand is essentially unlimited (as population grows so does demand), prices have nowhere to go but UP.
Instead of investing in the future, governments incentivize spending and then promise to pick up the slack for people at an older age.
Governments get to print the money we use today.
They will print forever.
Prices will rise forever.
You must either defend what they do and learn to deal with the consequences, or you can do something about it.
"But I have no control over this!"
STUDY BITCOIN.
The supply of everything else can increase, but there will never be more than 21 million Bitcoin.
Prices will always fall when you save in Bitcoin!

Wrapping your head around #Bitcoin    is hard because we have all grown up in a system that uses fake money.
It's normal for us to see the value of our savings disappear over time.
Today, we're taught that inflation is normal.
In fact, some people claim that inflation is a GOOD thing because it forces savers to spend their money.
The reality is inflation is NOT normal.
Prices of goods shouldn't be going up constantly.
Technological innovation leads to lower prices and higher-quality goods over time.

On top of this, governments continue to go further into debt to push political agendas.
The system isn't broken; it's working exactly as intended.
The average person is meant to be a slave to the elite.

Every one of the 8 billion people in the world can benefit from owning some
Let's say 100M people in the world want to eventually be whole coiners

Do you think the people who control the world want fractions?
No
They want as much as possible
The people who have billions of dollars of wealth won't stop at 0.87 or 0.92
They'll pay whatever they can to reach 1!
The people who have 9.95 will pay whatever they can to get to 10
The people who have 98.43 will pay whatever they can to get to 100
There are levels to this
Of course, not everyone is going to be able to own a whole coin, because there are only 21M

There are 60 million millionaires
There are ~3,000 billionaires
Every bitcoin is owned by someone, and it'll have to be purchased at the market price
There are a lot of people who own Bitcoin who will NEVER sell
The people who haven't hit their target will work as hard as they can to reach it
They'll get rid of everything they own that has a monetary premium
Some people own thousands of houses
You think they care about cash flow?
Do you really think these real estate investors need the cash flow?
They already have everything they could ever want
If you think they want cash flow, you haven't thought about this much
To the wealthiest among us, it's about control and reputation amongst their friends and the elite class of society
If they could, you don't think they will want to own 1 bitcoin?
Most of these people STILL think it's a scam
Once they get it, what do you think will happen to the market price?
Borrowing against Bitcoin will be easier and easier over time, so the Bitcoin that these wealthy people hold may NEVER go back into circulation
As more money is added to the fiat currency financial system, more of it chases Bitcoin as people realize that the Ponzi scheme is collapsing
The margin is the equilibrium price that buyers and sellers agree to make a deal
This margin will continue to increase as people compete to own bitcoin
1 Bitcoin, or 100,000,000 Satoshis is the psychological level right now
Next, it will be 0.1 Bitcoin, or 10,000,000 Satoshis
In the coming years, it will be 0.01 Bitcoin, or 1,000,000 Satoshis
Eventually, the value of the dollar as money will be so low that 1 Satoshi will be $1, then $2, then $5, then $10

This is a problem for governments
Now more people know the money supply is being inflated away and fewer people are saving in dollars
More people are buying houses, stocks, and much healthier foods meaning prices are rising

"Intrinsic value" CANNOT be applied to commodities like #Bitcoin   
Intrinsic value is supposed to be a way to calculate the true current value of an asset using variables like dividend streams, discounted cash flows, and residual income.
Commodities don't produce any of these, so you can't use intrinsic value to calculate what they're worth.
We don't value the food we eat based on the cash flow it provides - we price it based on supply and demand.
#Bitcoin    is a commodity.
Intrinsic value only applies to stocks, real estate, bonds, etc.
It can be completely subjective based on an investor's assumptions for risk-free rates, consumer demand, etc.
For example, people say "Apple has intrinsic value" and "Apple isn't a speculative investment because of its cash flows."
How do you know people will still want iPhones 30 years from now?
Intrinsic value doesn't consider disruptive technology or network effects, because it isn't designed to do so.

Part of the reason why housing is scarce is because we don't have enough labor to build homes
Since houses are scarce, they've become a financial asset
How many resources the current financial system extract from society (mostly in terms of labor)?

We pay people to predict where the market is going so that they can manipulate people into spending or saving
This is essentially what the Federal Reserve's job is!
Banks exist to store money, lend money, and give us a way to not have our money stolen via inflation

Bitcoin makes it so that the market decides prices and rates for itself
On a Bitcoin standard, 90% of the financial industry wouldn't exist
The biggest reason for this is that we won't need millions of bank branches and ATMs to store our money!
What happens to all those resources when Bitcoin replaces the current financial system or eliminates all redundancies?
They will be used to solve more important problems, like building more houses, growing better food, and finding solutions to real problems, because that will be the only way to make money

The US is in a debt spiral.
It borrowed so much money that it has to borrow more to pay the interest on the money that was borrowed in the first place.
This is like using a credit card to pay off a previous credit card balance.
In a few decades, $35 trillion of debt will feel like nothing, just like an additional $100B of debt feels like nothing today and $100M of debt 50 years ago.
We may see the quadrillion-dollar debt level within our lifetimes 🤯🤯

Most people reject #Bitcoin    because of emotions, not logic
They believe certain things and they can't let go of those beliefs
They get angry when those beliefs are challenged
Bitcoin makes you question everything you've EVER learned about money
- It's not issued by governments
- It doesn't produce cash flows
- It has no counterparty risk
- It can't be censored
- It's deflationary
- It's neutral
- It's digital
NOTHING like this has ever existed before
Instead of doing the work to wrap their head around how Bitcoin works, most people are looking for ways to reject it
This is why most people won't catch on until bitcoin is $1M or more

Only buy #Bitcoin with money you don't need in the short term (eg. don't buy with your rent money).
Build an emergency fund with 3-12 months of expenses so you can avoid being forced to sell if you lose your job or face an unexpected expense.
You can buy small fractions of BTC over time if that's what you prefer.
Ignore the people telling you to get to a 100% Bitcoin allocation - they don't know your financial situation.
I think Bitcoin is the future but I still have a primary residence and a tiny bit of gold for the chance of a complete system collapse.
I think a worse position to be in is selling in a panic because you can't handle the volatility.
Don't put yourself in a situation where you have to sell when the market price is down 50%.
Your emergency fund will let you avoid selling right in the middle of a bull market.

Have you noticed how many people are gamblers now?
Sports betting, casinos, 0 days to expiry options, futures, etc.
Fiat currencies make everyone want to gamble because the wealth they accumulated is quickly decaying and will trend toward 0 FOREVER.
Anyone with savings must make sure that their money multiplies quickly before it's gone forever.
If you have a basic understanding of finance, you realize that you can make a bit more than inflation by risking everything on the stock market or buying houses, because both will go up forever, right?
The issue is that both of these methods of savings are negative sum games that extract wealth from society and move wealth to the financial industry.
You can buy a house (decrease the supply of houses available to people who want to buy a home to live in) and then you can rent it out to someone at the current market rate (which would be a lot lower if you didn't buy the house in the first place - fewer people being able to own a home means higher demand for rentals).
You can buy stocks, get a dividend each year from the profits your companies make, and retire happy.
The problem:
When you invest in the legacy system, you are unintentionally profiting from the current wealth gap, and banks and financial institutions take a cut EVERY SINGLE YEAR. They charge you fees, interest, etc.
How do companies like Walmart and McDonald's keep providing cheap goods and services without exploiting workers? They wouldn't be profitable if they had to pay a wage that employees could live on.
People are figuring out that putting in the time and hard work at a job paying minimum wage isn't worth it because you're paid in a currency that can be printed at will.
Over time, Walmart and McDonald's can find fewer people who are willing to earn a couple of dollars an hour.
When the employees run out, we move to lower-quality products and pay $20 for a burger made of 3d printed meat.
The masses are no longer interested in being exploited.
More people are living in their cars because they can't afford rent.
More people are learning to cook at home because going out to eat is unaffordable.
You can't squeeze the middle and lower classes forever - society starts collapsing.
Is it worth working at McDonald's or Walmart if you understand how the internet works and you're willing to start some kind of business?
Not at all.
This is where gambling comes in.
Most people AREN'T willing to start a business, but they still want to get rich quickly.
Participating in the housing market is a gamble. Buying stocks is a gamble.
Most people are buying index funds but they don't even know what they're buying anymore. They buy houses because they think everyone wants to live in the West.
They KNOW that if they keep dollars, they will have nothing a few decades from now.
They don't see the risks associated with investing in legacy assets because everyone else is doing it.
The pandemic and lockdowns broke the old system. Now EVERYONE wants to get rich by owning real estate and stocks because that's all we saw happening on social media. Fewer people want to work jobs and add value.
At the same time, some workers have started producing value and selling it on the internet. They don't need employers to pay them minimum wage.
What happens if companies like McDonald's can't make a profit anymore because they can't find workers to exploit?
What happens to the housing market in the US and Canada when newer generations stop caring about owning a home because it's so out of reach?
Most people don't see "investing" as a gamble because it's always worked out in the past.
I think the next 20-30 years will be very different.
When you put all your savings in assets controlled in some way by government regulation, you put yourself at risk of losing everything.

As you learn how #Bitcoin works, it becomes very difficult to NOT increase how much you own.
I've NEVER met someone who wants to own less Bitcoin.
That doesn't mean you need to put 100% of your savings in Bitcoin.
Buy whatever stocks and real estate you want if they make you feel secure.
Even a very small allocation will be VERY valuable in 10-20 years if Bitcoin goes where I think it will.
I think everyone should learn about Bitcoin before buying a significant amount, but most people are so convinced that it's going to 0 that they don't want to waste time learning.
If this is the case, you can easily buy a fraction of 1 BTC for a small amount of money, store your private keys properly, and never think about it again.
A small purchase WON'T hurt you, but it may make you think about the potential and start learning more.

On a Bitcoin standard, we will see companies releasing their best products ASAP because they know that they can get the most amount of #Bitcoin today.
Bitcoin is a deflationary asset - anything priced in Bitcoin will decrease in value over time.
Businesses will be incentivized to produce the best goods they can for the most money they can get immediately.
Instead of delaying innovation, they will produce the best, most innovative products today, to ensure they are ahead of the competition.

Bitcoin is revolutionary because it's the first form of money that can perform 3 functions:
- Store of value
- Medium of exchange
- Unit of account
Fiat (government-issued) currencies were born because gold is not portable, so it was difficult to use as a medium of exchange.
Gold only works with centralized third parties. Instead of having to move gold from one place to another, paper money that represented gold gave us the ability to transact quickly and efficiently.
Fiat money forces everyone to invest in real estate and stocks to store value for the future because there's no limit to the amount that can be created. Every fiat currency has failed in the past due to greed from the people issuing it.
Since Bitcoin has a limited supply, we are moving to a world where all other goods (including stocks and real estate) will always decrease in value in terms of BTC.
With Bitcoin, you're not required to take other risks (like counterparty risk when it comes to stocks, or the risk of natural disaster when it comes to real estate).
You hold one asset that you can use to store, transfer, and account for value.
1 USD ≠ 1 USD 10 years from now because there's no limit to the supply of USD.
1 BTC = 1 BTC 1,000 years from now because the Bitcoin network will not produce any more BTC after 21,000,000 are issued.

I first started paying attention to #Bitcoin in 2020 (before the third halving)
My friend told me to buy some because the price was below $4,000, and very low when considering the previous peak
I thought I was smart, so I'll just wait until it drops to $3,000 or $2,500 so I can buy more
The price never dropped below $4,000 again
If you think you're smart and you're trying to time the market, DON'T
Just buy what you can and set it aside while you continue to accumulate more over time
Maybe 6 months from now Bitcoin will be at $40,000 and you will have the opportunity to buy ~60% more
But what happens if Bitcoin's price goes above $70,000 and NEVER comes to the $60,000 level again?
Remember:
You can buy fractional units of bitcoin
You don't have to have whole coins
In 20 years, when Bitcoin is worth significantly more than it is today, your fractional units might be worth enough to pay off your mortgage or buy you a new car
Focus on the fundamentals of the asset:
There will NEVER be more than 21 million Bitcoin
There will ALWAYS be more fiat currencies printed
Maybe the price goes slightly lower in the short term
But you should be protecting yourself against the price going MUCH higher in the long term while you have no exposure
My biggest mistake was thinking that I was smarter than the market
Don't do what I did in the past
Now that I understand Bitcoin at a much deeper level, I have figured out that buying at any price is a good decision if you have a long enough time horizon!

If the price of gold goes up, miners can just dig deeper to get more of it and dump it on the market.
If the price of #bitcoin    goes up, nobody can do anything to increase the supply.
In fact... in about one hour, we're going to see the new supply of Bitcoin being cut in half pretty much instantaneously when block 840,000 is mined...

Nobody will be able to do anything to increase the supply in the future.

Any value associated with fiat currencies is speculative
Fiat currencies are the easiest good to create
Dollars can be created with a click of a button
After today's halving, #Bitcoin    will become the hardest (difficult to produce) asset in the world
Why would anyone accumulate dollars if they can instead accumulate Bitcoin?

Where does their value come from?

So many people have told me they want to buy after the halving. If you are doing this you are gambling.
The halving is when the newly issued supply of Bitcoin is cut in half. Blackrock and Fidelity ALSO only recently started offering Bitcoin ETFs...

It's not because I'm timing the market...

I buy Bitcoin whenever I have extra cash flow
I'll buy more the next time I get paid, and the time after that, and the time after that
The price doesn't matter
1 bitcoin is worth $1M+ to me
I'm not selling below that unless I lose all my sources of income
Why would I care if the market is selling it to me at a slight discount from last week?
I'm going to accumulate regardless of price when I have extra money, just like I did with index funds in the past
The short-term volatility doesn't bother me
I have a 10+ year time horizon
