A new version of Invoice Buddy is out!
This update improves the new GUI a lot. It now has bulk labeling and improved sheet management as well as a much more user-friendly data structure and UI.
The current version brings IB to a much friendlier place for average users - not just for a corporate setting.

I haven't seen her vote wrong in congress on anything. She ran in being a pro Trump conservative, then when Trump flip flopped on everything he ran on, she stuck to principle and did the right thing despite the fact it destroyed her political career. I have mad respect for her. She stood up for Massie, Epstein transparency, no new wars, even stopping the glyphosate lobby. Now she's trying to unify the country under these things. She's doing everything right.

Kamala was not even an option :guilded_lul: RFK is pretty much the only silver lining of this administration, though. I would not say by any means that I feel more confident in the country now than under Biden. We went from an old puppet with dementia to an old sellout with possible dementia who is willing to sacrifice Americans at the behest of a foreign nation :guilded_shrug:

if he was playing hardball in a way that actually benefitted Americans, sure. But he's done essentially nothing politive after his first 5 months or so in office. He passed the BBB enthusiastically, made the decision to bomb iran multiple times, oversaw the epstein coverup. Yeah, there were other people involved like Pam, but he's the one with the power and failed consistently to make the right choices.
His entire second term has been a massive L. I regret ever supporting him.

I was also pretty happy with Trump too until he ballooned the national debt and.. Tried covering up a global pedophile ring... Got us into a hot war with Iran..... Unseated one of the only good congressmen we have...... And I realized he's a fucking lying piece of shit :guilded_lul:

I was under the impression that unlisted just made posts not public. Is there an option that still allows posts to be public but just removes them from the RG timeline?
I also think "no politics" should have a little clarity. "No politics in the RG timeline"? A more specific wording would help. I don't think you actually want to censor anyone, and I like the idea of letting people avoid politics if they want.

However, I think the No Politics rule needs to be rethought. It's a tricky issue and I respect the effort being made toward a workable solution, but in my opinion I see it as unenforceable and can easily lead down a road of either selective enforcement or even a post-woke kind of censorship where people don't feel like they can express themselves when I comes to important issues.
I think it is going to need to be amended at some point.

Unfortunately, Massie lost. It's a huge blow to privacy, as he was one of the only Republican congressmen who supported 4th amendment protections.
This election mattered a lot for the continuation of F-Droid, which is currently under attack, as well as many other issues we all post and care about!

Every time I check X, I am reminded of just how disgusting human beings (and to be honest, a large number of bots) can be.
After spending time on the fediverse, I'm convinced that the old format of social media is going to be humanity's downfall.

One thing that bothers me most about AI is the fact that it's being pushed by *every* major tech company ubiquitously.
There's no thought about the users, only making money through forcing AI on us at every turn.
Use Windows? Copilot is in EVERYTHING! Google? Gemini is EVERYWHERE.
What if I want to use my own AI? What if I don't want to use AI at all?
This is a major problem that needs solving.

If you want to help with the Open Source community, one of the best ways to do that is to volunteer with Open Street Map.
All you have to do is make an account + install the Organic Maps app. Any time you're out and notice a business missing (or details like hours), just add it! It's really easy.
That way, when people use open source maps apps their results are more accurate!

I don't really care that much what people believe so long as two things are true.
A) They don't try to force people to agree with them (cancel culture)
B) They don't make political views the determining factor of friendship.
Within reason, people of all beliefs should be able to tolerate each others differences and be friends.
If you don't think so, you're part of the problem.

Pearl v0.3.4 is out!
This is largely the same as 0.3.4-beta, but with some additional fixes. It should be in a stable state now.
I think I'll go ahead and only post the stable versions from here on out unless there's something big I need feedback on. If you want to be a beta tester, go to Settings > Check for Updates > Include Beta Updates.

The first official beta update for Pearl is here!
Debian-based Linux users can now benefit from the desktop integration that .deb provides! I am incredibly excited about this because being able to fully ingrate software into the desktop environment is very important to me.
In addition, Pearl can now read the very common .docx file type. Cool stuff!

Leo isn't bad. My main issue is that you only get like 8 queries before they make you pay lol, and there's no native Android app - you're required to go through the browser and it's like 3 clicks where it should be 1 on mobile.
I'm with you on the crypto stuff also, but I use Proton Wallet for everything (which isn't much lol).

I've been trying out Brave's new Origin browser. It's a de-bloated version of their main browser.
It doesn't feel different at all lol. I guess it's just for people who REALLY don't want the AI integration.
