I'm kind of annoyed. I can sum up the Fediverse in two ways.
1) Sites with poor hosting (504 errors, slow, outdated)
2) Sites with heavy-handed admins, who randomly do things like this.
I'd create my own Fedi if there were not currently several goods reasons for me not to do so.

19 hours ago, the administrator of Rebel Dot Ar changed the rules.
One of the new rules is that they don’t want people sharing news links. I occasionally share articles from BBC News, and I’ve also shared CBS News — which isn’t a local news source in Argentina, where the site is based. I hadn’t noticed the rule change, and now my account is hidden.
Looks like I’ll be looking for a new Fediverse site... again. 🤦

1+ Million Member Facebook Group — Deleted. 😈 🤣
Why?
Because the group was dedicated to seducing and cheating with people already in a relationship. 🙄
A big theme I noticed in that group was playing on people's ignorance. For example:
In most parts of the world, clubs close earlier than bars — and if a club does serve drinks (which is relatively rare), it still tends to shut down before your average bar. Most clubs close before midnight.
Why?
Because local officials generally don't want large, intoxicated crowds gathering in high-energy environments that could lead to misconduct. Isolated or smaller groups tend to be much easier to manage when alcohol is involved.
Similarly, bars don't typically stay open all night or into the early morning. In most places, they close either before midnight or an hour or two after. Still, clubs almost always close first. That seems to be the consistent pattern.
FYI: Loitering after closing time? Not encouraged.
Most clubs and bars — often with the backing of local law enforcement — discourage people from hanging around after hours. The idea of lingering to chat or smoke is often met with strong enforcement. The phrase “You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here” is very real.
And for those thinking Western work culture is full of late-night parties — Think again. Most employers — especially in the U.S. — do not routinely take coworkers out clubbing or to bars after work. It's seen as a liability for many reasons. Also, most people are just as tired after work as you are — and just want to go home.
So, for those of you who dislike clubs or bars, you might want to look up the actual local hours in your area. In most places, they're heavily regulated.
My only concern is that this group was reported numerous times and no one did anything — but I did by removing it, and I regret nothing! 💣🎤

You should assume that anyone claiming to be in Gaza City and asking for money is a scammer. There’s no infrastructure left — no electricity, no internet, no cellular service, and certainly no clean water. The city is in ruins.
Yet somehow, this person has magically bypassed all of that and is online, posting, messaging, and just so happens to need your money? Be realistic.
If you genuinely want to help, donate to a verified charity or humanitarian foundation. And if anyone argues there are no such charities — the blockade is over, and yes, they do exist — block the scammer. Don’t feed the fraud.

Since the influx of Blue Sky and Twitter users, Mastodon Dot Social had unfortunately — but temporarily — experienced a few Nazi accounts, all of which have since been removed. However, a few individuals are now wrongfully claiming that the Fediverse is no different, simply because a few bad individuals managed to make it here.
What they’re choosing to ignore is the key difference: those accounts were dealt with and rightfully removed. The fact that they weren’t caught immediately does not support the implications being made. 🙄
Haters are going to hate. 🤷
