After 12 pm today, I stop believing everything I read. People just want to pump their stock on April fools day. People will say anything. Week 30 - long run completed,
18.5 miles completed. Running is meditative. My mind gets extremely clear and sharp. I was in deep thought and I concluded that I need to train harder. I will have family and friends in attendance during the NYC marathon and I am expected to finish strong. I will be running against the clock. Sunset is around 5 pm in November. I refuse to finish my race in the dark. I refuse. I must train harder because I need to beat sundown. I am sure I will probably cry when I start running the Verrazzano Bridge. Why? Well, that's the only bridge I have not ran in NYC. Only marathon runners, professional cyclists and cars have the privilege to cross that bridge. It's a privilege to step foot in that bridge. Named after the first explorer who set foot from NY, Giovanni Da Verrazzano. 30 more long runs to improve. It feels like I am running out of time.
Every second of the race matters. Everything I eat prior to the race matters. And everyday leading to the race matters. Time is the essence. A timer that only keeps reminding me that time is disappearing as the days continue. Anyway, we went from no plants to spring flowers in Central Park. Central Park is beautiful. I am grateful it was created.
If you are ever in the city and a runner, you must visit Fleet Feet next to Central Park. They have a ton of gels and lockers for jackets or purses before your run in Central Park. I brought more endurance fuel today. Blessed for this store. The store is marathon heaven.
Japan Fest was happening in Bryant Park and more Roman numerals.

Weight training is hard but it must be done. My muscle hurts. I am applying ice until it melts. A numbing sensation to the extra sore leg. Ice therapy works. We don't build like the past did. Maybe, they were more advanced than us. They certainly brought Roman architecture to the city and called it home. They can burn the books of older civilizations but they can't get rid of the massive buildings the older civilizations built in the city. And everywhere you look in the city... Week 32,
I screw up my long run. Learn from my mistakes.
This week, I got a trainer for the last 6 months of marathoning training. On our first day, session 1, we met this Friday and we did leg day. When I went on my long run, I couldn't perform. I know it's common sense not to weight train the day before a long run but I was so excited to bring her on board. I managed to walk/run 13 miles but I did more walking than running. Things not to do before a long run- "leg day". Things not to do before a race- "leg day". Things to do after leg day- drink creatine to rebuild muscles.
I am extremely sore today, on my bday. It hurts to exist. Anyway, after my walk in central park, I celebrated my b'day with a Reuben sandwich. More Roman numerals in Central Park and the setup for the NYC half. I am extremely grateful to make it another year! Also, Uconn lost. :/ I am posting a picture of a building that has to much detail in NYC. It has so much detail, it's beautiful and unique.

I just came up with an idea for an app.
An app that helps you heal after a workout. You feed it your workout and it helps you recover. Aids your healing. The app will know which muscles you used and it will give tips on how to treat that part of the body.

Every March, I look forward to St. Patrick's Day! I cherish this holiday. Ireland is beautiful to visit. If I had a Europe sticker it would say " I love Ireland". LOL Idk if the Ruben sandwich is Irish but a corned beef sandwich with coleslaw is superb on St. Patrick's Day.
My bday lands of the same weekend. So, I am often celebrating my bday with the Irish. Eating Ruben sandwiches and wearing green for St. Patrick's Day is the best way to celebrate my bday. I am grateful. Let's eat Ruben sandwiches and be merry this weekend.

Vero's next stack of books. This will set her up at 70 books for the year. She picked all of them. 4 are about St. Patrick's Day. 6 are Spanish and the rest are random. Our goal is 1,000 books before kindergarten and to teach her to read because if she can read, she can learn anything.
