Hardware can break, is expensive, has possible supply chain issues, and makes you run dodgy Middleware most of the time.

So building +25 sovereign tools for the bitcoin community brought me about 7000 sats in donations so far.
Nice to see so many, many people deeply caring about standalone software without a central party and value the work through V4V 😉
Yeah, I keep telling it, because some ppl in art, code, business in bitcoin see the exact same grifter mentality, and see the same happen to their efforts. Unfortunately not many can openly tell it like it is, b/c they fear losing customers or goodwill from the few people that do care (there are some good people that actually appreciate stuff and Value it accordingly).
I don't have that disadvantage however. And it's important to point problems out in this community.
I can say that a big % of the bitcoiners who act like real tough sovereign, strong individuals to the outside, are actually acting like cheapskate scared little hippies that rather would donate to Peter Shiff or "stack sats" than to support real bitcoin projects. Or they find excuses to play philosopher while doing absolutely nothing, but expect their bags to pump.
And maybe that's what's wrong in this environment.
Maybe "price can't pump" of a large chunk of the ones that should keep it alive are turning into bitcoin hippies?
Who knows.
Just my insight.

Amulet Arsenal: an offline, single-file Bitcoin self-custody suite.
I have been building a family of Bitcoin self-custody tools called Amulet.
Last week I've released the teaser : the Amulet Silent payment wallet, today the full suite is open to try.
Today it lives at avbforge.com, with the full source on Codeberg and an MIT licence on every file.
The idea:
Every Amulet tool is one self-contained HTML file. All code, all wordlists, all cryptography is inlined.
No content delivery network, no web fonts, no analytics, no telemetry. You save the file to disk, you compare its SHA-256 against the hash file published next to it, then you open it in a browser.
Air-gapped if you want, one click.
The expected workflow is always: download, verify the hash, run offline. I am not asking anyone to trust the build because I shipped it. The hash check is the trust step. Every tool ships next to its hash_*.txt for exactly that reason.
The first door.
The piece I would point a careful Bitcoiner at first is the Amulet Wallet Generator. It rolls a fresh BIP-39 seed from secure randomness, with optional dice, cards, or keystroke entropy mixed in if you want belt-and-braces. It exports a plain text seed report, a PDF report, or an Amulet-encrypted .enc file that the rest of the suite can read. Every wallet gets a colour-bar fingerprint (a quick visual identifier for the seed, eight colour-blind-safe colours, 60 bits of state) and an optional Standard SeedQR drawn into the PDF that scans straight into SeedSigner or Sparrow. All offline, all auditable in one HTML file.

After the Generator you can try the other tools like:
Amulet Vault, an encrypted keeper for seed wallets, time-locked redeem scripts, and pubkey-only entries. Argon2id at rest. It makes you have a blob of encrypted data that makes your "hardware wallet" just a transferrable block of code if you like. It's heavily encrypted, post quantum ready and pure digital.
Amulet Picker, a master-passphrase generator drawing from a 10,000-word pool.
Amulet Timelock, builds Bitcoin time-locked redeem scripts.
Amulet Transaction Creator, builds and signs transactions offline. Build and sign in one file.
Amulet Shamir Shared Split, splits a vault into T-of-N shares or reassembles them.
Silent Amulet, a BIP-352 silent-payments wallet.
Amulet Scryer, a watch-only balance viewer (the online companion).
Amulet Broadcaster, pushes a signed transaction.
Amulet Relic, a small Python script of last resort for emergency .enc recovery.

MIT licence, fork friendly, no accounts to create.
This is ALL my personal gift to the bitcoin community. As I strongly belief we'll lose access to most of our tools, centralized services and open-source repositories at one point. We'll need to be even more self-reliant.

I've built an encrypted messenger on nostr, (and you can use other networks as well).
With no budget.
No grand stages and bloatware.
DeNMS uses nostra ID's as a DID and uses post quantum messenger KDF .
But ok ;) propably I'll need a keynote and a turtleneck to then promise things that won't be ready ever. ;) that's how it rolls these days.

ForsakenGrounds, a browser strategy game with minimalist graphics, and possible to play against and AI opponent (if you insert an openrouter key or so)
The game is well-tested by now, and it's actually something I enjoy playing myself.

So, having 24+ tools and a donation page with a Silient payment section.
Of 1 year of having this address online (avb@....) it has receiver 4 donations.
Two of which was myself testing the system. And two people that sat across a table from me and wanted to see how it worked (after I donated to them).
There is close to zero real life organic adoption so far for silent payments. And that's just a damn shame.
what's the main reason for this I ask myself.
Too little use cases? (I don't believe that).
Too small number of implementations in wallets? (sure)
Too complex?

I'm so tired of hearing about masculine and feminine devine energy BS.
Spent about 1,5 years listening to someone entrenched in that cult of the energy and stuff.'. in the end they're always too lazy to even put out their own garbage bags or actually do real work.
