this thing is, as most paper companies figured out a long time ago or they would have done this, is this is a nondurable consumer product that must function 100% correctly. Anything fancy and you have toilet, wastewater lines, or septic system clogging or an inability to absorb what it is supposed to, and the consumer of any class will go back to the normal product which has plenty of options. Ironically one product you can't enshittify is the one that cleans it up.

I've often looked at this from the other side. the Toilet Paper Objection to Trickle down theory. There's only so much toilet paper any one human of any class status can use to wipe their backside.

Something just clicked for me. The only good writing I did before college was two creative writing projects. I could never fit my thoughts into a five paragraph essay, nor 500 words(the other constrant on many of these essays ). If not constrained, i'll usually go for 1200-3000 words and many paragraphs. That is why I did so crappy in English class.

Sadly, Maxwell Street is all gone, just modern dorms, UIC stadiums and condos now. Manny's Deli is the only thing that's left of the Jewish part of that neighborhood.

The Nelson funeral home on the corner(left) has not changed since the movie. Always thought of Jake and Elwood when I got to the intersection

I've been wondering this especially when Pharma and biotech depend even more on that federal pipeline than computer science does.
