@News One of the changes coming in update 1.1.0.0 for Escape from Tarkov is a rework of the side task system.
The vast majority of tasks will no longer be organized into chains where each new task unlocks only after completing the previous one. Instead, they will be tied to trader loyalty levels.
At LL1 with a trader, a set of basic tasks will be available. To advance to LL2, you will need to complete several of them. Each new LL will unlock a new set of increasingly more challenging tasks.
The rewards for these tasks will be more focused on cash - unlike the current system, where a significant portion of the payout consists of barter items and equipment.
Most trade offers will become available immediately upon reaching a new LL with a trader, without being tied to a specific task. For example, the Tri-Zip backpack will unlock at Ragman LL3, and the DevTac Ronin helmet - at Mechanic LL2.
Some tasks will remain exceptions to this new system and will continue to unlock in chains regardless of traders’ LL. Rewards for these tasks will include especially rare trade offers or crafts.
The key rewards from such task chains will be displayed as soon as you accept the first task. This will allow players to see in advance what they can ultimately earn.
The main goal of these changes is to make progression less linear and less dependent on specific tasks, providing more ways to gain access to useful items.

@News Update 1.1.0.0 in #EscapefromTarkov will introduce a variety of QoL improvements across several game systems.
Notable changes will improve the availability of equipment in the early stages of progression. Many entry-level ammo types will become available much earlier. For example, 7.62x39 T-45M1 will be purchasable from Prapor right from the start of the game.
The character level requirements for earlier trader LLs will be reduced, and the total trade volume requirement will be removed entirely.
The early Hideout development is also being streamlined, with construction times for the initial modules getting reduced. Also, there will be less dependencies on other modules and “Found in Raid” items.
As we've previously mentioned, insurance will be unavailable in Kord Breach season, but it will become more convenient in PvP and PvE Zone. Insured items will be returned more quickly, though the cost will increase slightly. In addition, Jaeger will now offer his own insurance service. While significantly more expensive, it will return lost items in just a couple of hours.
These changes will make character progression smoother, allowing players to spend more time on active gameplay and pursuing long-term goals.

Balancing changes for the "Blackout" event:
● Raid duration on The Lab has been increased to 30 minutes in PvP and 35 minutes in PvE;
● In PvE, the number of Black Division operatives has been reduced, and the number of PMC bots has been increased on The Lab;
● Increased the chance for Black Division operatives to spawn with the arsenal storage room key;
● Any target now counts toward the progress of the "If I Can't Have It" task;
● Increased the amount of loot in locked rooms on The Lab;
● Added new TerraGroup Labs access keycard offers to Therapist and Mechanic.
Fixes:
● Fixed the missing voice announcement during power outage on The Lab in PvE;
● Fixed incorrect UI display after opening the "Map" tab on the location selection screen.

@News In addition to the seasonal system, update 1.1.0.0 will include a wide range of other changes.
One such change is a task system rework for every game mode. As part of it, the requirements for unlocking the “Collector” task will be revised.
Many side tasks will be removed from the list of requirements, leaving only a few, such as "A Shooter Born In Heaven."
In exchange, one of the new requirements will be achieving LL4 with all traders and a separate Fence reputation threshold.
Obtaining the “Kappa” secure container under the new requirements will grant a new achievement. The unique "Kappa Path" achievement will no longer be obtainable once the first season begins.
As a reminder, update 1.1.0.0 is scheduled for release before the end of July. If you're already close to earning your first “Kappa”, you still have time to finish it before the changes go live!

@News Soon, the seasonal system will come to Escape from Tarkov. One of its core features are modifiers - special rules that directly affect gameplay.
Global modifiers will apply to all seasonal characters. These are fixed rules that cannot be disabled or changed.
Personal modifiers will be chosen by each player individually. It won't be possible to create a jack-of-all-trades character - gaining useful bonuses means accepting meaningful drawbacks as well.
When creating a seasonal character, you'll start with 0 points.
Positive modifiers will cost points, reducing your total, while negative modifiers will grant points, increasing it. Your total will need to be 0 points or higher. This also means you can choose to play without any personal modifiers if you prefer.
Modifier values may change before the start of the season for balancing reasons.

@News Today, we would like to once again explain what TarCoin is and provide more details about how these coins will work.
TarCoin is a new type of in-game currency that will be used exclusively within the Expansion Hub. Using it, you will be able to purchase apparel sets, stash lines, and other items that were previously only available on the official website.
After the Expansion Hub is released, TarCoins will still be obtainable in raid in PvP mode, but several aspects of their functionality will change:
● TarCoins will no longer take up space in your stash. Once a raid is completed, all extracted TarCoins will be automatically converted into your account balance;
● Any TarCoins currently stored in players' stashes will be automatically converted when the Expansion Hub goes live;
● TarCoins will no longer be tradable on the Flea Market. All active TarCoin listings at the time of the Expansion Hub launch will be removed, and the coins will be automatically converted.
TarCoin packs will be available for purchase through the Expansion Hub, the official website, and Steam. Purchased TarCoins will be credited directly to your account balance immediately after purchase.

A Scav mutiny has occurred: splinter gangs have stopped following Fence’s orders and are now shooting at anyone they encounter. Armed with revolvers and lever-action rifles, they have clearly looted some hidden stash.
Rumor has it that the rebels are hauling their loot into the nature reserve, where a ton of valuables can now be found.
In order to promptly deal with these troublemakers, Fence has temporarily lifted the restriction preventing Scavs from attacking one another. Only the most cautious will thrive, as there are currently no consequences for a shot in the back - not just in Woods, but everywhere.
The max number of PMCs on Woods has been temporarily reduced, while player Scavs will spawn there earlier than usual. The cooldown between Scav raids has also been significantly reduced.
The event will run until June 29, 9:00 AM BST / 4:00 AM EDT. You can earn a unique achievement by completing the associated task.

@News The in-game event “Tarkov Hospitality” is live in #EscapefromTarkov.
Summer has arrived in Tarkov, and things are already heating up. Motivated by the success of the new Arena season, Ref is eager to secure new places to hold fights at. His men have been spotted on Shoreline, Customs, and even around the nature reserve. Jaeger refuses to stand by and watch this happen and is determined to fight back.
The contribution of PMCs in this conflict will determine which locations become available for Arena fights first.
You can take part and influence the outcome in both PvP and PvE Zone. The max number of player Scavs on Shoreline, Customs, and Woods has been temporarily reduced.
The event will run until June 12.
