Every time I use Windows I am reminded just how good Linux is now.
Trying to do some CoD with the kiddo, 3 games in and it hard locked the entire system. Forced to hit the reset button.
Then Windows failed to load 3 times, then gave me a blue screen telling me Windows failed to start. Tried restarting again, Windows still fails to load and reboots itself.
Windows 11 is a clown-show.

If you come to @npub1d62…rhjw and attempt to make a comment arguing about SJW, pretending you're "not a bigot" while clearly acting like one, and trying to post a wall of text being against a simple CoC telling people basically "don't be a dick"....you will be instantly banned with the comment not approved.
All new users have comments go through approval for a while first. It's a system that has worked *very* well to keep our comments a little more focused and respectful.

Well, they owned it, it was their project (after buying Xamarin).

I used to use GNOME exclusively. Until eventually I got tired of looking up *why x changed or why was y removed* and there was never a good actual reason. Or they were rewriting it, again and it's now nowhere near that previous thing.
This is basically how I feel about the development differences:
"Hey can we have this?"
GNOME: "No. Why do you need that. No one needs that."
KDE: "Yeah that could be useful. Done"
