Let me be clear, the majority of this is pretty uncontested. Only a fool would think that a ground war in Iran would be anything but a disaster of death. Only the dishonest Trump supporters would make this case. The part that sounds absurd to me is this.

Rash? Yes. Reckless? Yes. Overextended? Possibly. For decades "experts" have said attacking Iran would be risky. Only air strikes has never resulted in the defeat of a power.
The US pull out of Afghanistan is a pretty strong indictment of US failed military policy. Not saying the US is at its peak as many pro Trump people say. This guy seems to be over selling it likely because he opposes the action and partnership with Israeli government

The modern man seems to think making arguments from silence in regards to gender roles and sexuality is acceptable hermeneutically. My default position to trust no politican regardless of what they say or what party they join has aged pretty well.
Many misunderstand trust.
"Firm belief in the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing; confidence or reliance."
Is it wise to trust a class of people that have a long track record of lying and deceiving those they claim to work for?
If you wanted to show your son or daughter an example of a person with character would you most likely point to a politician?
Is it wise to rely on a politician for anything important in your life?
You can like what a politician does sometimes but trusting them always seems like a fools errand to me. But that's me.

Stacker. News is great. Love the site and community there but it's not my house. Some of the issues with social media are around expectations. This idea that its a public square are part of the problem. They are all owned by people. But the expectations are that they are public squares and some try to be. In the end the tradeoffs and expectations lead to conflicts.
If you want to make the rules you do have to have skin in the game. Nostr is a really good balace of the two. You can run a relay or use others relays. You have the ability to do things you just can't do on most networks. Nostr has so much up side.

I think we agree on the problems. And even most of the solutions.
I was simply adding some scriptural context. The reality is that most modern Christians don't wanna even talk about the roles of husbands and wives. Men need to be told to lead as you say, but also take ownership of their family and that includes being the priest of the home.
You need to know when to be firm and gentle. You aren't always firm or always gentle. It's not about how the husband feels. Paul advises men and women in the areas we struggle with. But you are talking to men and seeming to make light of the destruction of marrage. A man whose wife leaves him should look at himself not just what she did. It's called humility. It's not feminine to realize that we all have flaws.

If a husband is loving his wife and laying down his life for her as Christ did for His church she would have no desire to look elsewhere. Its easy to sell tough sounding language but not as enticing for young men to realize the depth of our responsibility in leading.
If you have seen some years this passage makes sense. The admitation for husbands and wives make sense. Our temptations differ in marriage.

Important to remember this and not be hyper focused on working in vs outside of the home. This is not grounds for divorce.
Leadership requires submission but ideally you marry someone that isn't surprised by your desire and vision for marrage.
