I would stay away from btc /nostr names as surely the plan is to simply run a business that you can sweep some profits into bitcoin. Accepting bitcoin alongside normal payments is enough in my opinion and appeals to everyone. Anything ive seen that is names towards btc for a ‘normal’ business actually alienates non bitcoiners which is what you dont want.

It’s a new one. Not Tooting market which is already rolling.
If you came to the speaking events at @latelierSW17 which are sorely missed (business ceased trading) then a similar but better vibe is what I’m thinking and it’s missing in London at present.
A ticketed private dinner for up to 40 people (prices tbc but reasonable) in a swish and secret space within a down to earth street food market.

There is a new london market in town with merchants accepting #Bitcoin More over the next few weeks and post launch event.
Launch event Wednesday 27th November.
This will be a ticketed event with food and welcome drinks included.

I’ve got a member of staff who can’t work due to double knee replacement. They are on full pay and want something to do from home.
Uk #Bitcoin people. I want to conduct a trial whereby people send me details via dm or to [email protected] of people they know who own businesses that would potentially accept #Bitcoin payments within 🇬🇧
Could be a business owner you know well or a family member who owns a business.
My team member will chase the leads throughout September and see if we get any success.
The circular economy needs building faster and am aware many people will know people but it isn’t in their personal comfort zone to suggest payments so feel free to outsource the legwork to us with some open minded business owners you are familiar with.

My experience with @orangepillapp has been nothing but positive. We’ve added people to meet ups that they didn’t know existed and added extra headcount to Bitcoin events that we have held. Very positive experience and like anything it is new and will only improve.

Was in a place yesterday for the 2nd half of the football in Cheshire and great hotel/restaurant/ small conference centre. 3 people including me in there. Told the owner that over the next few years we could do some takeovers. Mini conference, accommodation etc and he said he loves the idea but only wants to accept £ and doesnt think it will work. Left my number and told him that 3 people on a nice Sunday afternoon doesnt look like its working either. Let’s see.
