I think one of my favourite parts about being on a publishing team is getting to see a lot of different people's life stories. The comapmy gets a lot of self help and memoir type work so I get to see a lot about how different people from different walks of life have found peace. Even though objectively they have al been through a lot. It's nice to see in a weird way. Its nice to see you're not alone in the throes of life

my bf is looking into motorola and oneplus nord phones because theyre going to be one of the few phones where you can still use the bootloader so you can root it and have a custom rom experience. and im hoping i said that right because im just repeating what hes said without much tech experience myself. but hopefully that helps

I'm a traditional media artist who's tired of web2 stuff. I'm not very techy, but I'm learning more about this stuff each day hoping to find places online that have genuine people and not empty brands. In my mid-20s so I'm just barely old enough to remember how the old internet used to feel. I also work as a social media manager, even though I'm not influencer-brained at all lmao. I play Marvel Rivals, I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh (especially the manga and season 0). I'll probably post pictures of my cat and process pics of any art I make. Glad to be here!

very strange coming here as a SMM. i never really liked social media as it is now , but i really loved being able to help people get their projects seen in one of the only place you can build a wide audience. but so far places like nostr feel like what social media should be. i hope web3 stuff can grow so therell be better ecosystems that get creators seen without fighting against a corpo algorithm that demands you be inauthentic
because at the end of the day on web2 socials, youre not selling your own product/art/idea, youre there to sell the platform youre using to the users. your content has to be made in a way that the algorithm thinks itll make meta/tiktok/etc money. and if you make money on the side thats just a side effect. social media creators are essentially all freelance workers for the companies that own the big social media platforms. which sucks
