in the desert, soil does not hold water like in temperate climates. Very dry dirt is actually hydrophobic. Sometimes rainfall as far as 50 miles out will accumulate in a valley within one hour.

I keep two 2-liter glass pitchers at all times. It takes about 12 hours for the charcoal to do its thing. I rotate the one I'm drinking from that day. Since moving, I found the water very hard and poor quality. This fixed it immediately.
After about 3 months the pores will become clogged and they need to be refreshed. You can boil to reactive it. After 1 year, I retire the charcoal piece by using as odor absorber or add to potted plants.

Chipotle is freshly prepared and fairly healthy, seems to be grade A meat.
Chipotle has an open kitchen so you can see the cleanliness. Their staff know how to cook and wrap burritos well.
Taco Bell staff just open packages and heat it up.
Taco Bell is highly processed. I don't consider it real food.

there are other cases from US Chamber of Commerce and universities.
