Something what @npub1s6z…wk4c explained to me last June: remember that small zaps are too small to enforce individually on-chain.
The threshold depends on mempool weather, but I think it's dust limit + ~170 vbytes * fee.
So, at 1sat/vb a reasonable threshold is about 700 sats, at 10 it's 2300, etc.

Is there a feature to modify/anonymize your voice?
When I get calls from unknown numbers I drop them, but if there was a feature to mod my voice to a robot voice or something, I would've picked up and played with them a little, while avoiding them recording my voice for AI generation, etc.

Steve Rambam (i think he was a private investigator sharing a bit on his craft) had an enlightening and entertaining talk, probably 20 years ago, full of examples at the HOPE conference called "Privacy is Dead, get over it"
I only watched it on YT but I remember his laws.
The first law was: "All data will eventually be used for some unintended purpose". Like Domino’s customer databases being used by law enforcement, supermarket loyalty data sold to HMOs.
There is a second law: nothing is ever thrown away / there is no forgetting.

GM! My @npub18m7…q955 takes 10GB of iPhone space. When it starts it does the compaction, but it takes a LOONG time to start and it does it every time :-(
At this stage no compaction can yields any better result.

Miners are free to include or exclude any transaction they prefer. Even to the point of creating empty blocks, which does happen.
BIP110 is not created to prevent any of our transactions, but to reduce arb data attack vectors. That sits inline with protocol design and maintenance as attacks are being invented.
While I reserve the word censorship for governments en masse attacking free speech, it is miners who are closer to censoring anything than bip110 which is a proposal to temporarily allow less space in txs that are used for identified abuse.

What is getting worse:
- cost of transacting: the more non-p2p-cash transactions in a block, the higher the cost to get into a block for p2p cash txs
- this impacts L2 exit costs and other operational transactions
- higher cumulative cost of cpu, storage and network i/o of running a full node. higher costs hurts decentralization of nodes, serving archive blocks and maintaining a healthy p2p layer (mempool)
- non-monetary tx create drift to exotic protocols being a backbone for scams, this is called ethereumization and we know how it ends
How does tolerating garbage affect it's ability to act as money?
- attracts scammers
- makes bitcoin a vehicle for and of scammers
- slows monetary user growth
- delays hyperbitcoinization
- abuse vectors are kept open leading to more complex code and friction to improve maintainability through simplicity
Bitcoin has a purpose. Satoshi didn't create electronic, p2p library. By doing other things in a resource-limited environment, the secondary, latched-on abuses, evict the users of the purpose of money. eg. Money with spending limits is a worse money. Money costlier to transact is a worse money, and so on.

Featurism - the desire and perceived benefit of adding features - can spur growth and hype, but can also be a trap.
I have seen a game project where devs (yes, including me) where so high on adding all the exciting ideas we conjured on or dev chat or when drinking beers, that we neglected stability, bugs and listening to users.
One way to identify featurism (at least in a game, where balancing the game is important) is to notice, it after adding a feature, you have to come up with ways for users not to abuse it. Very often, after adding anti-abuse provisions, the features stopped being used.
I learned to see that software can be like breaths of buddha, or whatever:
- the deconstructive inhale is as important as the fertile exhale
Pruning, nomem omen, the feature set can be healing.
Fellow bitcoiner said recently that #BIP110 castrates bitcoin.
Wording suggests it takes away vital functionality. But does it?
It reduces expressiveness of some featurisms. Splicing is not harmed by BIP110, large insertions are. Elastic multisigs still will be possible, protected by grandfathering. No harm there. And these are not vital. There are just nice to haves. Programmatic inheritance is a nice to have.
Truly vital functions of bitcoin are only reinforced and a proper way to defend featurisms is to curb the abuse, or remove completely.
With time, in the game dev, I learned to listen to the most active critics of what we, the devs, did. By tapping in to the player's thinking I was able to make the game better.
All this is to say, that if we were to drop some of the non-vitals, we'd have bitcoin be more like grep, and less like Windows 11 Notepad.
And I use grep with pleasure.

Saw X spaces today with Paul Storc, went in curious to see what's going on.
He said he doesn't understand BIP110 because spam is unstoppable anyway.
Goes to show he doesn't think his audience is curious, smart and well-read enough to know this is disqualifying disingenuous framing.

About your post above, I think there's a nice idea in it!
Everything kB committed to the blockchain is physical mass and an energy requirement to supply by node runners forever. Here:
- Monetary kBs will provide ongoing network effects for the system. tx is source for txs.
- JPEG kBs will do nothing of the sort
So if:
- core is rotten and they won't cede control,
- permissiveness halts bitcoin from bitcoining in the long run that we need,
then BIP110 has to be attempted because if not, none of the problems are getting sorted and we get more anti-cypherpunk shenanigans:
- bad covenants + suitcoiners + exchanges controlling utxo flow
- fake L2s (KYC, surveillance and capital control)
- ethereumization, bitvm, shitcoinery but on bitcoin
Basically compartmentalization of Bitcoin into a meek and timid crypto-asset.
I don't want that.
