That's pretty close to my grandmother's description of some of the poverty/food rationing meals they had during the depression and ww2. Veg they grew, government cheese and maybe beans. Tough times i hope I never have to eat it the worst I've had are MRE's.

Years ago HR forced a barely competent diversity hire patel on me and it was trouble from day one. I finally had to just tell him that whatever the fuck it was he was heating in the break room microwave had to stop. Many complaints it reeked up the entire floor. I also had to counsel him on personal hygiene and the proper use of soap and deodorant. Just nasty and we were all glad when he resigned.
