Bin da im Prinzip bei Dir ... bei größeren, generischen Fragen kommt da ja auch noch der Vernetzungs- und Austauschaspekt dazu. Im technischen Klein-Klein (etwa beim Debuggen, das ja auch sehr von meinem Setup abhängt), wo ich die Frage nicht einmal richtig generalisieren kann, wäre das aber schon etwas schwieriger. Zumal dann ja auch noch Latenz etc. eine Rolle spielen kann.

Auch wenn das oberflächliche Zufälle sein mögen, rücken so Vergleiche die aktuelle Situation doch immer in ein bestimmtes Licht. Zumindest dekonstruieren sie die Unvermeidlichkeitsrhetorik, die Aushöhlung der Demokratie unter Rekurs auf den "Volkswillen" etc.

Ein Query, der #Berlin|er #Museen auflistet mit der Zahl der jeweils strukturiert auf #wikicommons erfassten Abbildungen (der Museen selbst, also nicht der Exponate). Eine erhellende Perspektive, die @npub1a0q…c72h an der @npub19gy…0gys gerade aufmacht: Das 👇 (Ausgabe des 17. Jh.) ist für manche griechische Bibelexegeten "state of the art".
Das sind die editionsphilologischen Zeithorizonte. Das zeigt einerseits, wie überfällig die aktuellen Editionsprojekte sind; andererseits aber auch, dass wir im Digitalen uns nicht mit Langzeitverfügbarkeitshorizonten von 10 Jahren zufrieden sein können.

#structureddataoncommons is, in my view, the way to go for #wikicommons: Files and metadata become more findable, more interoperable and better reusable. Categories can be useful, but structured data is better. Here's a reasonably efficient way to get info from categories into structured data: Search for objects in category "incategory:Cateogory_name_here" -> Switch to SpecialSearch -> Select objects with Cat-a-lot -> add statement with AC/DC (cf. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Awinkler3/Strukturierte_Daten_f%C3%BCr_mehrere_Objekte_erg%C3%A4nzen)

Den wiederholten Verlagsankündigungen zum Trotz wurde offenbar leider festgelegt, dass Titel dieser Art "eindeutig nicht zum Sammelgebiet der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek" gehören.

Bibliotheksdaten gibt es überraschen selten als #RDF: Ich habe bislang nur die DNB, BSB, TIB und so halb das BSZ (RDF nur in HTML eingebettet?) sowie das HBZ (JSONLD) gefunden. Richtig nutzbar ist es nur bei der DNB /und dem HBZ/. Dabei wäre es ja ganz interessant, wenn man sich mal durch die Kataloge sparqlen könnte.

output von #genAI ist grundsätzlich nicht urheberrechtsgeschützt. Doch je mehr das Ergebnis die "Persönlichkeit des Promptenden widerspigelt", je mehr Werk im urheberrechtlichen Sinn, desto eher ist der Output geschützt. Es bleibt also kompliziert und letztlich Abwägungssache.

#umbel ist auch so ein Kuriosum aus der #lod-Welt im #glam-Bereich. Es ist in der RDF-Modellierung offenbar (zumindest bei DNB und BSB) die übliche Art, Digitalisate zu verzeichnen (umbel:isLike). Seit 2020 ist die Domain jedoch wieder herrenlos, die Definitionen der Ontologie muss man sich aus dem InternetArchive holen (https://web.archive.org/web/20190321120528/http://umbel.org/umbel). Dafür können die Bibliotheken nichts, kurios ist es trotzdem.

Schön, #museumdigital außerhalb der #GLAM-Bubble im engeren Sinn neben der @npub14n9…dnpu als "nationales Portal" erwähnt zu sehen: zwei recht unterschiedliche, dabei aber komplementäre Angebote, die #kulturerbe im digitalen Raum sichtbar und zugänglich machen.

Wouldn't it be nice, esp. for museums, to have a link to the #wikidata item on the corresponding object page and ask people to add info to it? People would be encouraged to interact with the objects, share their knowledge, and enrich the metadata the institution can use, if they want. Wikidata could be the interface between collection and community.

Eine schöne Initiative in #Italien. Ein 'biglietto sospeso' im #Museum. Man zahlt also neben seinem eigenen noch ein weiteres Ticket, das dann (über entsprechende Organisationen) an Bedürftige weitergegen wird. Für etwas mehr kulturelle und soziale #Teilhabe.

Heute habe ich bei #wikikult (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/WikiKult_-_Offene_Kulturdaten) zusammen mit @npub19el…7jp5 und [@r0man_ist](https://openbiblio.social/@r0man_ist ) kurz über den SOS-Editathon gesprochen. Ich habe kurz gezeigt, wie ich per LLM historische Vorlesungsverzeichnisse strukturiert, in #OpenRefine bearbeitet und dann nach #Wikidata geladen habe. Die @npub14n9…dnpu ist gut mit dem #wikiversum verzahnt und zeigt, dass sie eine sehr relevante Aggregatorin für digitales Kulturerbe ist. Luft nach oben gibt es immer, insbesondere die nicht-deutschen Wikipedias könnten von DDB-Angeboten noch profitieren. In der deutschen WP finden sich erwartbar die meisten DDB-Links auf den Hauptseiten.

die @npub14n9…dnpu lässt sich aus aus OpenRefine heraus ansteuern. Bsp.: Ich habe eine GND-ID einer Person und will wissen, ob die DDB zu der Person Material hat: Edit column > Add column by fetching URLs > dann als GREL "https://api.deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de/search?oauth_consumer_key=API_KEY&query=" + escape(value, "url")", wobei value die GND-ID ist. Die neue Spalte enthält die API-Response. Die muss man dann in einer neuen Spalte nochmals parsen mit value.parseJson('numberOfResults')

Havariebedingt etwas verspätet eine kleine Aufstellung der Objekte in der @npub14n9…dnpu , die 2026 #gemeinfrei wurden.
Es sind insgesamt 12694 Objekte von 989 Urheber:innen. Gut 5000 Objekte stammen stammen aus dem musealen bzw. Sammlungskontext, der Rest ist Flachware. Die Top-10 der betroffenen Institutionen gibt es im Bild.

Kleines Tool für Leute, die mit #LIDO-Daten arbeiten: LIDORefineWeb. Man lädt eine od. mehrere LIDO-XML(s) hoch, bekommt dann eine CSV, die man z.B. in #OpenRefine mit Normdaten anreichern kann, lädt diese dann wieder hoch und die Normdaten werden dann in die Original-LIDO geschrieben: https://www.digis-berlin.de/lidorefine

Not actually the behaviour I'd expected: when adding URLs from #reconciliation results in #openrefine "URLs" actually means (page) URLs, not the entity URIs which I'd assumed would be the thing one usually wants to have. When reconciling, I usually want to create a link to the authority record, which is represented by the URI, not the URLs.

However, there seems to be no way to either query the knowledge graph or download metadata for more than one item at a time.

Not sure if I've seen that before: An online collection that has a link to a copy of the resource in the #internetarchive (https://californiarevealed.org/do/5d89ac02-7c37-4c76-b799-885da5100e3b). The corresponding item in the IA has a backlink.
