You can launch big picture with 'steam -gamepadui', so you could just run BSPWM with no extra configs, just to have something to run X with, and then have steam big picture launch automatically.

It's not just about looking good to impress, a proper suit will last you a lifetime and be actually comfortable.
You ever see old people? They often still have the same wardrobe from when they were in the 20's and 30's, it's not just habit, often those are genuinely the same clothes they wore back then because they were such good quality they're still around unlike modern Chinese or Bangladeshi shit which wears through quickly and often doesn't fit you well.
You'll end up buying 5 100$ suits in your lifetime instead of just buying one $500 one now which will be more comfortable for all of it.
