En dehors de ça, l'épisode était très bien. Mais ça vaut le coup de rejeter un œil à GrapheneOS du coup, c'est ultra-facile à installer même pour quelqu'un·e qui n'est pas technique, c'est une excellente option de nos jours, qui mérite d'être mise en avant.

Intéressant et pertinent comme toujours. Par contre Fla indique que GrapheneOS est fait pour la sécurité, pas la vie privée (en citant il me semble l'exemple des contacts), c'est faux. GrapheneOS a de nombreuses modifications pour la vie privée (contacts scopes justement, storage scope, Wi-Fi Privacy, etc.). cf. https://grapheneos.org/features

note that webxdc is also used in XMPP (XEP-0491). Cheogram (Android) do support them, I'm not aware of any other client supporting them at the moment. It's in my own TODO list, but quite far from the top.

I'm happy to announce that I’ve received a new NLnet/NGI0 grant to work on XMPP metadata reduction and serverless implementation (RELOAD).
This will involve contributions to XMPP specifications and implementation within the Libervia project.
The outcomes will include improved privacy, better resilience to network issues or censorship, and serverless connections (e.g., in LAN or ad-hoc networks).

I'm advocating for not using the XMPP name for end-user, but instead the end-user client name.
"XMPP" should be used as a compatibility label: we are "compatible XMPP 2023 Core-IM" like a device is "compatible USB 4.0".
Nobody complains about "USB" being unfriendly.

we've talked a bit about that with [@larma](https://mastodon.social/@larma ) at last Berlin sprint.
I'm curious: what are the use-cases beyond mini-games?
If we look at https://webxdc.org/apps/ , it's mostly games or things that should be proper apps (e.g., editors) or implemented with a real protocol (e.g., calendar, encryption).
I'm willing to implement #WebXDC eventually, but mini-games are low on my priority list. What other use-cases or killer apps do you expect from this?

Some updates on my #Libervia work:
- Kicked off #email #gateway project (https://nlnet.nl/project/EmailXMPPgateway/) using IMAP/STMP. Basic gateway should be coming soon.
- Preparing next major release: web frontend design & internal improvements in progress. The release will be *huge*.
- Started new desktop frontend; more details to follow.
- Aiming to resume blogging and weekly videos this week, if time allows.
- Targeting a Libervia-based service by the end of the year.
