Apart from that it's probably DNS... I mean relays. But don't ask me how to fix it, I wish I knew. The outbox model seems to be promising in that regard, but I don't know if there's an iOS client with outbox model and frankly I still encounter issues. Wisp seems to be the most reliable, but usually I switch between the clients and sometimes I notice that also wisp missed some notes.

Thanks for reaching out! No restarts. My alby hub nwc zaps work normally with other clients. But it stopped at some point with amethyst. It wasn't even connected to the amethyst update. I've just updated to the newest version and it seems to be the same issue – it tries to zap, the wheel starts to fill, but stops and stays like this forever. No error message. I had to switch to other clients to be able to zap from my hub. I did try creating a new nwc connection. Talked to the alby support. Nothing helped so far.
Now I'm going to make yet another nwc connection and see if this helps with the newest amethyst.
I'm also using amber, just realised that it might have something to do with it.

For me the main thing with the nostr apps is the freedom of choice I get. One dev will implement stupid reels to his app and a different one will keep his app simple. I can switch to a different client or ask the creator of my favourite client to make the controversial feature optional, etc.

In my opinion bitcoin will become the medium of exchange for the majority of the world only when workers, merchants and entrepreneurs will stop accepting anything else for their work, products and services. This will not happen before the USD collapses. Possibly also the USD successor will need to collapse as well. People adopting BTC today are the early adopters and a minority by definition. I'm doing my part, I'm spending where I can and engaging in the community. But we are few and it will remain like that for decades. Adoption of a new form of money is not as easy as changing from a flip phone to a smartphone. Majority of the population will do it only when they have no other option, when their life is in danger. Ergo: using BTC just as a SoV (savings!) is also using it as money and it won't significantly impede the adoption. Yes, we should spend it and use it as MoE and UoA even. This will help a little. But I understand and respect also those bitcoiners, who didn't start yet.

Anyone else having trouble zapping using @nprofile…vjgp via NWC @nprofile…t2zn recently? It started a couple days ago. It fails every time. There is no error message, just the purple ring never closes, when trying to zap. I've checked the NWC connection and budget, re-logged-in to Amethyst, recreated the NWC connection. Nothings helped. Where should I report it?

Hey, I'm having trouble zapping with nwc (alby hub). It works ok in other clients. The budget is not exceeded. Any ideas? v1.0.8. But it worked fine until 2 days ago in the same version.

I watch his lectures and I like him. Educational and entertaining. He reminds his students every now and then, that it's all a thought experiment, trying to apply game theory and history to predict what will happen, and that obviously he might be wrong. The only issue I have with him is that these reminders are not frequent enough.
He's wrong on bitcoin... Well, it happened to many.

The issue has been fixed in the meantime, I can zap minibits addresses again normally.

Real change is usually slow. Some people do have strong turning points, but most of the important growth happens in ordinary days, through small steps, setbacks, and patient returning.

I've been in an emergency situation like this before, but alone, in a foreign country. I made through it and good people helped me. BUT having family close: priceless. Obvious? Yes, maybe. Still I'm immensely grateful that my family were there for me when I needed it the most. It made it so much better.

This path does not really end. Life with God is not a project I finish once and for all, but a road I keep walking. That can feel tiring, but it can also be freeing, because I do not have to solve my whole life at once.
What matters most is today. Not “I will never fall again” or “I must already be healed,” but “today I take the next step.” Today I love, today I tell the truth, today I try again, today I let God be with me here.
This takes away the pressure to be perfect. I am not asked to be flawless, only willing to grow. The point is not spiritual perfection, but spiritual progress, however small, however unfinished.
Even when something seems over, life is not over. Even when I fall, the story keeps going. Life is still moving, and God is still at work.
