When you feel incredibly lonely and discouraged, you should not spend a lot of time alone. We are social creatures, we crave fellowship and friendship (though solitude is important).
When you are alone, it only breeds more self-pity and depression. Our friends help renew and refresh us. They are our source of comfort which gives us the strength to get back into the fight.
If you are struggling, reach out to someone and if you see someone who is struggling or suffering, reach out to them. Be that one ray of hope and light in the darkness for them.
We should be more generous with our time and more willing to help one another. I pray the Lord changes my heart, so that I can be a better person and a better friend.

The reason we lose in a nutshell:
There are people here trying to spread FUD about writing a letter to someone wrongfully convicted or donating to a documentary film about a controversial topic claiming you'll get put on some list for donating to a film.
Do you think the left gives a shit about being put on a list for writing to an inmate (something thousands of people do daily) or donating to a documentary?
They stick together and support their own. That's why they can be effective in numbers.
There are people arguing victims of the federal government somehow deserve what happened or they say they can't be bothered to help bc they think they are superior to or smarter than those men who were standing up for people in Michigan during a time when people weren't being allowed to work or purchase seeds or cut hair.
Absolutely insanity.

I didn't request anyone become "penpals" with them. I requested people take five minutes to write a short letter. Can be as much as "you guys aren't forgotten, there are people in the outside who know you're in innocent and are praying for you." Adam is under 23 hour a day lockdown - yes I do believe he would crave any human contact at all. When you have spent years in isolation in a Supermax prison then perhaps you'll be qualified to speak more on this topic.

I'm not really sure why, other than to be miserable and terrible human beings, some individuals on here have tried to scare people away from writing to the Whitmer Fednapping hoax victims.
They want people to believe if they write to these men they will somehow end up on a federal terrorism watchlist. This is untrue. As a member of the media and a filmmaker working on a documentary about the case, I am subjected to different treatment than regular people who correspond with inmates. I am subjected to additional monitoring by the federal BOP.
These individuals have called me a victim of the feds for being monitored by them, but even have also called me a fed for encouraging people to write to the victims. Anyone can correspond with an inmate in America - you cannot be placed on a terror watchlist for this. Additionally, I have offered the use of my return address for people who may be more paranoid.
These people have nothing of substance going on in their own lives so they spend all day looking for people to "troll" but ask yourself if the men framed by the FBI and their families deserve that.

There is a reason you have been through so much pain and suffering. God is testing you, He wants to know if you're strong or if you're weak. No general on the battle field wants weak soldiers who turn and run at the first sign of trouble.
God wants soldiers who are bold and courageous, people who will see things through and trust in Him. He is strengthening you. The reason you had to lose was so that later you could gain. Stumbling blocks have to be removed so you can move forward according to His will, not yours.
