I can't remember either. I have a library of recipes and one-liners in joplin for bash, sed, awk, ffmpeg... That, or I pull up a script I've already written that's similar and mess with it to get what I want this time.

Thank you both. No, Gregoire, I know nothing about investments and I really thought it was as Prof. May described the UK.
To me, it seems like they are gambling with our pension fund and under performing, while being well paid to do it.

This is something that I've never thought about before.
The article is paywalled, so I'm just left to imagine it's a complaint about the directors pay cheques.
This article https://www.investmentexecutive.com/news/cpp-investments-earned-7-8-for-fiscal-2026-net-assets-total-793-3-billion/ says the fund gained 7.8% which sounds very good, no?
However, it says it fell short of a "benchmark portfoliio" that was at 13.2%, which sounds incredible to me.

Massive layoffs in Canada as the feds restricted foreign students this past year. Why? No idea.
Some blame them for housing shortages. They pay two or three times the tuition and pump other dollars into our economy for homeostatic needs. Makes no sense to me.

Happily, green worked as the text colour for the cronjob script :-)
I have 6-8 'test' layers of text in the gimp and 2 right-hand layers. One is full black as background to my random knote, when I can't scale to 1600x900 except to lose too much of the photo. The other layer is the same, but translucent, when I can get the image to fit. I put the colour in the image name when I export it: Kaja_greenlit_leaves_ZgZ.png so a regex can easily find the ZgZ for green, ZyZ for yellow and so on.

Really? I love it! the immediacy of the grasses, the mist, the water, the lighting... I can practically smell being there. I think it's wonderful.
I may put more than one copy in the directory to give it a better chance of coming up :-)
