Sign of life. Not in a great place right now but I’m still fighting. Good days and bad days.
Got some additional pregnancy complications so hoping for some clarity in the coming weeks.
All I know for sure is I have another big surgery with a multidisciplinary team in August. Hard to mentally move on from the first one when it’s lingering over my head.
I keep having nightmares about the ER and waking up tied down and intubated, so my sleep has been shit.
I can’t stop worrying that all this physical trauma affected the baby.
After many tears I think I’ve finally become numb, and I think numb is the only way I’m going to get through the next 12 weeks, if not longer.
Idk what else to say. I’m so grateful both of us are alive. I’m just having a hard time adjusting to this new reality.

Yes, slowly adapting to new normal and trying not to worry about the rest of the pregnancy. I’ve been given a second chance, not many people in my position can say that, I can’t waste it being sad.

Is there like a support group for people who experience miracles? Everything around me feels so surreal. I see my old things and it’s like I don’t recognize them but they make me sad. It’s a very strange feeling. Maybe it’s just pregnancy hormones lol

It’s the first morning that I haven’t cried, so that’s progress.
I can also now move slowly without a walker, just a bit hunched over still. Getting me up is the hard part.
My baby bump looks metal as hell. Literally. There are over 40 staples from my sternum to my pelvis.
Shoutout to my incredible husband, @WalkerAmerica, who has been by my side throughout this nightmare. I truly could not handle this without him. In sickness and in health, boy did he prove it, and I am so grateful for that man.
I’m really hoping the worst part is over. I need to believe that. And I’m praying for a healthy and smooth delivery in August.
Gonna be a long road, fam. But I hope in a couple years I’ll be dancing in an orange wig again 🧡

Hi fam. Thank you for all the love and prayers 🧡 it’s truly a miracle the baby and I are alive right now and I’m so grateful to my husband and medical team for making that happen.
I’m in an enormous amount of pain and honestly having a hard time staying positive.
I have an intense few months ahead of me with a healing and growing belly, and then delivery and whatever comes with that, and I just gotta say it, I’m scared.
Scared, grateful, scarred, blessed.
Everyone keeps telling me how tough I am but I don’t feel that way right now.
Anyway, the only way forward is through and I just wanted to let you guys know how much your messages and well wishes have meant to me during this insane time in my life.
So much love to all of you, this too shall pass 🧡

It’s these weird involuntary sounds your mouth makes while narrating that can occur midword like a loud POP and they happen a lot with Ls and I’ve redone a line with the word “looked” maybe 30 times and still can’t stop popping it 😂 I truly never noticed them in any media until I started narrating and now I hear them everywhere.

Guys the box elder problem in our house has escalated. I’ve called people but they said all they can do is spray for them in the fall and once they’re in they’re in. I literally woke up with one crawling under my nightgown last night. They’re coming from recessed lighting or something cracks in the windows idk. sticky traps aren’t working. I’m losing my mind.
