Something interesting about farcaster is that when someone launches a tool or website or product, a bunch of people are excited about it instead of shitting on it or harassing the creator. Also a bunch of people step up and document how it works, as unofficial companion howtos and documentation. We could learn from that

from what I can gather the chinese attack on uyghurs was because a subset of the muslim population there was becoming extremist from influence from saudi arabia and most of what china did was breaking the back of the extremist movement.
