If there’s one duty to fathers it’s to live in a way that shifts culture of parenthood.
My wife worked full-time when my son was a baby 10 years ago and I spent my days walking around wearing a baby sling, working on playground with a notebook on my lap. I was the absolute only male wherever I went. I did not get many friendly looks, felt like an intruder of value systems many times. Ok, to be fair, this was a small Austrian city, but even there things have changed since.
I takes time it takes patience and there is still a long way to go.

I care very much less about people in industrialized countries. I want all fucking wars to end and see an end to exploitation of the global south. I strongly dissagree with your take that is unfortunately way to prominent in libertarian bitcoin speak. People are not stupid and they will not call for what you say. It’s on all early adopters to find the right words to make them see, not by thinking we’re the smallest bit better than normies just cause we were lucky and discovered Bitcoin first. Arrogance is the real stupidity in this space.

Felt like drafting an entirely fictional story today:
Shortly before his FIRST DAY IN OFFICE a political world leader and his wife sit down behind the wheels of two very shitty cars. Some buddies built them over night using fairly new tech they barely understand. We’re set in a time where most people have never seen a car in their lives. The two start their engines, loud noise echoes far and wide. They step on the gas, drive around and focus on running over as many people as they can in a short amount of time. The two know their crappy vehicles would fall apart quickly, that’s why they move very fast. A lot of blood in the streets. However, they are not worried about any backlash once noise falls into silence. Why not?
Well, believe it or not but there is one type of car that has been driving around the block for over a decade never hurting anyone. Nobody knows who built the initial design, but it is somehow maintained by thousands who don’t even know each other. This car also has a bunch of influential fans. You might think they would will be furious with what happened on the streets, however there is little to no outcry from their camp. Many of them have only one interest: personal wealth. They think it doesn’t really matter if shitty cars will kill many more people. They know selling shitty cars that come and go will make prices for the great car surge in the long run. Some of them even believe road rage king will promote the great car so they supported him on his path into office. They for themselves will live long lives. Many other’s won’t. The office formerly known as presidency is known as head of sales from this day on. Executives remain mostly unknown and their true intentions slowly unfold over decades to come.
In this story:
Cars could have become save to use for anyone, but it never happens.
Cars could have been owned by anyone, but it never happens.
Cars could have revolutionized travel worldwide, but it never happens.

was watching this and had similar thoughts. many say music flourishes when everyone can create and share at ease, but I disagree. It only does as a market, not ad an art.
The dedication necessary to explore creatively and reach higher highs must logically be reduced with the absence of effort, right? The Beatles were explorers in the studio, but they used tech of the time in unprecedented ways (i.e. downmixing/layering on tape) not standartization in form of plugins and presets. They fooled around, spend tons of time and effort and ok, were geniuses. which might have helped.
I also agree with AI being inevitable, thus intensifying the devsluation of music as an artform. However, I don‘t think #Bitcoin has the potential to fix this (as of noe). Most bitcoiners right now seem to repeat any cultural dilemma the fiat-standard has gotten us into, with the only difference of holding bitcoin as an asset (to pay for all the greed of future-self).
Actual rethinking of human action through bitcoin will take much longer than money deflation, I fear. By latest that time if not already, I guess music is dead.
