a lot of my typing that I would have done I can use some of the local voice transcription model on mobile. A lot of what I do is just talking to my phone now and having my keyboard (FUTO) essentially convert live. It's gotten very good.

Good point as all software open vulnerabilities. I'm happy to use a mix of stores for apps and confidident in graphene to protect me from the inevitable screw up or the screw up of a dev.

My flow for downloading apps on a fresh graphene install :
1. Download Accressant from built in app store pre Installed on graphene
2. Download "app verifier"
3. Download @nprofile…gsu4 APK (make sure you verify this using app verifier - zapstore publishes hash on nostr page)
4. 90% of apps downloaded on zapstore & of course use app verifier to check hash given for each app you download
Bonus
1. For apps via playstore either use a seperate profile or "private space" on main profile to keep Google Play seperate. You can download both from pre installed graphene app store
2. F Droid is also a great FOSS option. Download apk (f-droid.org) and verify using app verifier

Its great but if you need something other then flatpaks its tough - for example a vpn, I believe only mozilla offers a flatpak. Both proton and mullvad require .Deb \. RPM
Sparrow wallet as well....
If you need funtional device with high security Mac os is solid but you obviously make some sacrifices.
