So I was sick today and needed to not do real work, so I resurrected an old tui based music player that I had not touched since 2010 (and it got it's start in 1997) .... and added some nice to have quality of life things, like better unicode support, sqlite databases instead of mmap files, etc....
I have tons of things to fix still.

They seem really nice, and it seems to be possible to order custom layouts other than US-EN, but the UX on the site kinda suck, so it is not clear how to do that if you add a custom layout to shopping cart. Seems like really nice computers, but the order UX is kinda confusing. @npub1sfg…fqh4

Hey #hivemind, what is the #best #laptop to run #linux at the moment? I need pretty decent specs, being able to shuffle at least 32gb ram in it (but I will not complain about more). Not having the ram and ssd soldered to the mainboard and have a nordic (swedish) keyboardlayout (Or blank with the keys in the right places), gpu does not matter that much as long it is able to drive atleast 2 4k displays and also the internal screen should not be glossy if possible.

Hm, vi har tydligen en regel på jobbet att man *måste* ha kameran på om man deltar i ett teamsmöte. Jag som gruppchef tycker det är trevligt att se mitt team, men när jag håller i möten så ställer jag aldrig krav på det någonsin. Det kan finnas många anledningar till varför man inte vill sätta igång sin kamera anser jag personligen. För mig är det viktigare att personen är där, och deltar i mötet än att jag kan se dem på kamera.

Well to be fair, I read a lot of shit, and read really fast. But there is a lot of situations where I prefer to listen to stuff, while doing other stuff. (I'm millennial). And sometimes I listen to videos with a dude talking about an article or a podcast about it (or several) to get different perspectives on the topic etc.

I wrote a small #bash #script for #mastoadmin that runs the instance in #kubernetes - it makes it easy to run tootctl commands from the machine you are running kubectl from:
(It will probably bug out if you are running multiple web frontend pods tho)
Nothing fancy really, but got tired of needing to look up the podname everytime.
