yeah but the way they get used and how u use them feels strange to me idk, in zig this just generates a different struct for each type passed in, and this can be done with any kind of value not just types as long as it is comptime. Actually that's probably the biggest thing I would like to know whether it has an equivalent :3

I mean like when a struct's structure changes based on what you pass in, for example zig's StringHashMap:

wait fr? what I thought was a preprocessor is just a differently shaped part of the language TIL. Anyway more then OOP I should have sayed OOP-like (the way rust handles generating structs feels OOP-adjecent but might just be me, I like zig's way)

yeah in a perfect world learning would continue all through life, a form of work-and-study already exists in high school but it should also exist sooner and later (I hated middle school cuz I couldn't actually choose what to do, idc about the basics of computers I know those already lemme program and do actually useful shit instead of redoing he basics again and again)

I would agree with this in a system that is not capitalistic, but because of the system we are in this would just lead to people not teaching anything to young ppl and just sending them to work all day, in a fair system where it would actually be a choice and young ppl would still be able to learn while (if they want) working then yes 100%

I hate how everything has to be dynamically linked, you want a gui? either dynamic link or dlopen. you want glibc? dynamically link it. oh system libraries? yeah we only ship them as .so, have fun finding a way to statically link them without pulling the whole 50000000000GB repo.

I used to use a ddns before changing plan from a shitty one to a fast one that came bundled with a static ip since I'm using the services from a company that doesn't even have specific paperwork for privates, instead sending you the paperwork normally meant for companies and telling u to ignore the fields that don't apply
