This, times a million.
I haven't read through the thread yet, but the importance of getting actual borosilicate glass cannot be overstressed.
However, I'm not sure that depending on the branding printed on the product will continue to be reliable.
I'm going to read through this thread now, as see if anyone has mentioned videos explaining and demonstrating how to test the glass yourself, something to do with refraction something something. Also, it has to be the right color.

they had many, many targets, but most of them had already been completely obliterated by firebombing already.
the criteria for selection of targets for the atomic bomb were that the city had not been touched by bombing previously. Also, good weather. So, the target wasn't selected with 100% certainty until the B-29 "weather ships", which were sent in advance of the actual strike package, had given the go-ahead.

I have no idea what the fuck is going on, only that I haven't seen it until today.
I have seen plenty of posts for which "quote" capability was entirely disabled.
But today is the first time I've seen the "waiting for approval" thing. I think I saw three different instances of it today.
It pretty much renders the "quote" functionality useless, since nobody can see what you're boosting/posting until it gets "approved".

Honestly, having experience with C++ means things like fighting with build systems and weird linker errors. You don't get this kind of experience via course work and homework. I doubt the recruiter knows enough to understand the technical details behind employers' refusal to interview people without 10 years of on the job experience with C++. He only knows that it's a hard pass from them.
