I hope I am wrong, but I recall chatting with Sean twice about the old-style Starlite (which pre-dates me at Starlabs).
In short, I don't think it's coming back, possibly because we can't source the parts.
The Starlite mk V has IMHO seen a lot of demand/success. If it sat on the shelves then it would be more likely we see the return of the old Starlite :(

I'm very lucky that a lot of our customers are on Mastodon, so I had an initial leg up. It's been maybe 4 months now?
I spend quite a lot of time here just talking to people about what they like and don't like about our marketing and products.

Running into the Mastodon character limit, as usual.
The motive behind this poll is to:
1. Reduce the "time-to-answer" for inbound support questions.
2. Not upset a subsection of our existing community who are extremely technical.
IMO I think we assume all existing signups are sufficiently technical and exclude them from Linux 101 style emails. Create my proposed "learn page" and collect newsletter signups on that page. Only targeting those with Linux 101 style emails.

I have a dilemma.
Recently we are seeing more people wanting to "escape windows". These people are admittedly not tech-savvy.
We get many queries from non-techies, who I think would benefit from a "Learn page" - a brief page of Linux, beginner-friendly distros, advice for beginners & walkthroughs, etc.
1. If you are a techy Starlabs community member, would you be opposed to this?
2. Would you want to be excluded from these Linux 101 posts/emails?

It's sad, but it may be too late to save this guy.
The first step is to create a collection of all our reviews for each distro so that we can hopefully solve his issue with Arch.

Points raised:
Battery life is not what the website claims—I hate that this is how all companies operate. I would like to introduce a "Realistic Battery life." The problem I foresee is that if we publish a realistic battery life, we will have floods of people asking why the battery life is 50% of all our competitors.
