A ideia é essa sim, porém não nesse momento ainda cara. Por enquanto eu vejo o #bitcoin como uma reserva de valor para um futuro mais longe um pouco. f
Para uso imediato, como no seu exemplo, você pode passar sufoco. O btc ainda tá muito volátil. Pode ser que quando você precisar da grana ela esteja 80% negativa! Aí te lasca a vida!
Eu penso de 5 anos pra cima e isso me ajuda a acalmar o coração (porque é foda). Então, sempre que cai eu tento comprar mais do que compro normalmente (que é bem pouquinho, infelizmente). E assim segue o baile.
Não penso nem usar nem vender por enquanto. Só acumular patrimônio em bitcoin mesmo pra ter caixa lá frente.

I feel very frustrated working with the internet for almost 30 years, having seen everything emerge, understanding deeply how all the technologies work, and not being able to make money directly from the internet, like a lot of people who barely know what they’re talking about do.
I’m not even talking about becoming a millionaire. Having some extra income that would allow me to invest and fulfill some small desires would be more than enough, but I can’t even achieve that.
When I try to come up with a business idea (and I’ve tried dozens of times), it seems like I don’t know anything, I have nothing interesting to share, or I only have things that no one will want.
And look how things are, in the company where I work (a huge development company), I am seen as a specialist, everyone comes to me for advice or to gather opinions, and they see me as a great reference in my field. I am very respected indeed.
So, really, I don’t know why I can’t create any kind of online business… I don’t know if I need help, if I need to study more, or if I need to forget about this subject and focus on other things…
But it is really frustrating!

It’s been two days since I deleted Instagram and TikTok from my phone, and the adjustment has been interesting. Immediately, I noticed a significant gain in time at the end of my day. Yesterday, for example, I got home from work, went to the market to buy a few things, came back, made a nice dinner, and still had time left. Before, I would come home and sit catatonic on the couch for hours, resting my body and exhausting my mind.
But I’m missing it. The feeling that I’m missing out on something is constant. It feels like my brain is begging for stimulation, like an addict craving heroin or something similar.
In the end, I think the result has been positive. The next step in this process of reclaiming my productive life is to finish some of the courses I started in recent months but never completed.
I urgently need to finish things, even if the initial excitement that made me start has already faded away.

I've been addicted to social media for a while now, and it's been bothering me, but I kept procrastinating and pretending everything was fine.
But, you know... the amount of time I've been wasting scrolling through TikTok and Instagram was getting ridiculous!
So, I removed all the shortcuts from my browser, deleted all the apps from my phone, and decided to take a real break from it all!
I kept only LinkedIn for professional purposes, NOSTR (because, why not?), and YouTube. My behavior on YouTube is much healthier; I don't watch shorts. I consume a lot of technical material for work or learning about topics I'm genuinely interested in as hobbies. Things like economics, ancient history, prehistory, and so on...
Let's see how far I can take this detox. The next step is to cut down on gaming too. Fortnite is super fun to play, but if I let myself, I can lose hours on it daily.
Time to do something useful with all this extra time, right?

Last year, I found out I needed glasses after buying some books on Amazon and realizing I couldn’t read them.
It was quite a shock!
The letters were a bit out of focus, and I found myself trying to find the ideal distance to properly focus on the text. Moving the book back and forth several times until I could see… it looked like a bizarre dance!
Sad, but inevitable, right? I held out for quite a while… At the time, I was 44 years old! It was time to add some glasses to my look.

I think one of the things I love most about NOSTR is testing out the apps people come up with. Honestly, that's my vibe outside of NOSTR too. I'm a natural "early adopter"! I'm always trying out new things, learning, discovering... It's super cool!

The heat here in Brazil is almost unbearable. In my region (Maringá, in the interior of Paraná), it's extremely hot, dry, and the air quality is terrible because of a huge wildfire that, although happening far away, is sending all the smoke over here.
Air conditioning has gone from being a luxury item to an essential at home. I even took the opportunity to install solar panels all over my roof to generate energy and keep everything running without going broke!
And on top of all that, we’re in the middle of municipal elections to choose the next city councilors and mayor. I feel like a pig choosing the barbecue chef who will skin me for cracklings and then stretch me out on a spit to roast my carcass over an open fire!

I have to admit, I've been feeling pretty frustrated with my experience on NOSTR lately. Maybe I just picked the wrong relays, but everything seems kind of slow and clunky. The content often freezes with no updates, or I try to access a feed and nothing loads.
That's exactly how I feel—frustrated.
And yes, I've tried all the available web clients and even some desktop ones, but overall, it feels the same.
Today, though, I decided to revisit "Primal," a client I hadn't tested in a while, and I got a bit more excited. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but my experience with it improved by 1000%!!!
Let's see, I'm still excited about the idea and purpose of NOSTR! Hopefully, things will work out this time...
PS: Is it just me, or do 90% of the clients seem to be derived from a single codebase, with some variations and customizations here and there? Do you guys feel the same way?

I’ve been working in web development for almost 30 years. I started my career working for other companies, and after some time, I thought it would be a good idea to start my own business.
For over 15 years, I was an entrepreneur, but I never really made any real money with my company. Eventually, I had to accept defeat and return to the job market as an employee again.
And why all this? Because I never knew how to sell my work. I’m not a good businessman, nor a good salesperson. I’m definitely not a good businessperson!
Now, after a lot of trial and error, I’ve managed to learn a few things and I take on independent projects, freelances, but I still work for a big company that guarantees my paycheck every month.
Self-awareness is so important! This is what I should have done from the beginning: worked in big companies, built a network, improved technically and financially, and tested the market on the side without risking everything else.

I always thought coffee didn't affect me, but I realized I was completely wrong about that.
The fact is, during the week, I drink A LOT of coffee at the office, and the day goes by normally; I don't feel anything different.
But on weekends, when I don't make a cup of coffee in the morning (out of sheer laziness), I spend the whole day feeling unmotivated, sleepy, and wanting to crawl into bed and sleep until the next day.

One thing that needs to be done yet is to preserve the reading status of our messages, so if I read in one client it will not show as unread in the others...
Is it possible in nostr and just not implemented by anyone yet or it isn't possible at all?
