It's a huge farm with many acres of sunflowers. You can wander through all the fields and they have some antique farm machinery placed throughout. It's very pretty, but so many bees!! 😂

Oh no! That's just a frustrating thing, isn't it?
My son was to have surgery for tubes. He was asleep on the operating table when I left his side so they could perform the procedure. Five minutes later the ENT was standing next to me telling me they couldn't
continue because his ear canals were so small there aren't any tubes that would fit. He said today that's the only time in his career that has happened. His ear canals years the canals did not grow when he did.

I’m very happy to report after many years of inconclusive hearing tests for my son, we finally have one that was conclusive.
His hearing is excellent! Despite having the smallest ear canals possible.
Such a relief. 🙂💛

I have loved getting to know Monica and Denise by name, and I've loved learning about the people behind the accounts I saw but didn't know well before. People like Madame Wizard, Nellie, Coach Mark, and Shogan and Battlefuzz, and Hal.

I like the kindness and support we all make part of our experience. I like how we check on each other.
I like to hear about Montiese's day and about Liz's files.
I love knowing who does Lego, and who does Pokemon.
I look forward to learning more about music and seeing how so many people with such diverse tastes just manage to appreciate that about each other.
I enjoy seeing what the little hamster is up to, all the beautiful cat personalities and of course our resident pups.

I like knowing if I can't sleep Roxxy or Heather or Myles or Dj are probably around.
I like how Tina, Starr, Tom and Carla know they can be absent for awhile and then pop back without any apology needed.

Nothing major planned. We've been doing some home renovations and maintenance recently. I'm hoping to get some things cleaned up and moving in the direction of being able to cross them off my list, but honestly, if it's nice out, I am going to prioritize playing. I'm a bit of a child that way! 🤭

It looks like the current wave has peaked in most of Canada.
Historically, we often have a small dip before Thanksgiving, the infections pick up again after Thanksgiving into late November/December.
We'll see what happens this year. We have never seen infections come down to low levels from September to December, in any year since 2020.
So, even if things are starting to improve, be aware that this could be temporary.

I fainted as I was at the gate to board. The gentleman who caught me is a nurse who was flying with a medically fragile passenger.

I actually do something similar! My mom taught me when I was really young to always say something nice to myself when I pass a mirror no matter how down I feel.
She always said it was important to like yourself.
It works. I can always find something to appreciate, and somehow find it easier after all these years of practice.
She said it makes a person glow. I think she might have been right. 💛
