I recommend them highly...a few minutes per year pruning and mulching is all there is to it.
If you plant a 4-5ft whip sapling, expect first real harvest after 3 years - 30-40 pears per tree, maybe 20# of fruit per tree, after 5 years 50# per tree...8 hours direct sun is best but they will still produce with 5 minimum
Very low maintenance for fruit trees...might need some fungicide if you have cedars nearby for fireblight (about the only thing they are susceptible to)

Never had to dip the nose...we usually try to find the best altitude for spraying and just go straight as much as possible. G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate is the most challenging to get optimal dispersion with, especially when the jetstream dips south of Canada. 👍

Yes be honest with people when appropriate, but I've learned not to be honest or logical, in some situations. Yes, my professional peers can tolorate some brutal honesty (usually).
In the wider world, that can be dangerous, especially if you are forced into an interaction. Many people in the world, perhaps the majority, are controlled by emotional impulses -- though most of those people are usually low in real status and power (but they can be physically dangerous), the exceptions to that rule can be an expensive problem (in time and/or money).

There is a specific type of person that I've found I can reach on bitcoin. I have gotten about a dozen in the last 2 years.
I think we will get to maybe 0.1% of people with western levels of wealth in self custody bitcoin, the rest will slowly transition to another slave system that is recollaterlized by bitcoin (financial instrunents like STRC).
Just like in The Matrix, most people would die if they are unplugged from it. Only a small percentage of people want it.
The reality is most people are afraid of being free,( and afraid of becoming wealthy even). They just sabotage themselves subconciously.

💊 The orange pill. I just spent 3 hours with 4 people and brought them from bitcoin dismissive to genuinely curious...every one was asking intelligent questions and I was answering everything at the proper level with examples, analogies, or metaphors. I went from what is money, Cro-Magnon TKTL1 genetic mutation, shell beads, gold, fiat fraud, and bitcoin protocol. It was beautiful, I loved every minute of it. Everyone was quite complimentary (understating this a bit..lets just say my level of information and memory make me seem smarter than I actually am sometimes).

I encountered maybe a similar person? (a delusional woman who genuinely believed in her moral superiority) yesterday. I can't stop thinking about her because it was so absurd. She was a lifetime government worker who beleived she was special...and in this particular interaction, she could not comprehend that her credentials and achievements (which she listed to me) didn't matter in that moment. She had a contempt for me that was truly alien and something I rarely encounter.
i am used to interacting with quiet, highly competent professionals, (practically bitcoiners that don't have bitcoin yet: my orange pill rate is off the charts) and she was so far off my calibration of how to interact with. It was like Greta Thunberg but in a 60 year old body. I know what most of these jobs pay. God bless them for showing up at all. I had a friend that fell on very hard times and was getting food stamps. While I was living on ground beef (when it was $1/lb) chicken, hot dogs and ramen, he was eating like a king...he literally couldn't spend all the food stamps every month eating beef tenderloin and lobster tails.
Why work for no benefit...kids are doing the calculation that they will be more fulfilled having all their free time and the same level of wealth as someone working a grueling, thankless job that essentially pays worse than wealth transfer payments.

Work ethic is bad? In the US, In my experience that isn't true. I am genuinely surprised to see many people working some jobs at all, considering what they make. Lack of care in doing the job is understandable.
As far as living in cities, that is where the vast majority of employment is. Most people that are living the idyllic country life-style made a fortune in big cities, then moved to the country. The rest have land inherited from generations back. I grew up in the country and as far as affordability, its about the same, but with less crime (ROI on crimes like burglary is low due to likelyhood of being shot). A few people have land and nice houses, and most live in dilapidated to falling down hovels.

Project Hail Mary: 9/10, first movie I've seen in theaters in many years. Went to a late night screening at a Grand Theater IMAX 70mm. Wow, the sound (panic inducing10-20hz rumbles and explosions), visuals, and story were excellent. The kind of movie I was waiting for, and it was worth it. The woman next to me was wiping tears away and so was my daughter. Hard Sci-Fi...check. Story....check. Broad appeal...check. My only critique (since I read the novel first) would be that the 3rd act felt rushed...but I know, runtime -- its a lot of story to fit into a movie. Gosling gave his all and it shows. There isn't much exposition (glad about that) so having a strong science background is good if you haven't read the book. Not sure if I can call it a masterpeice yet, I definitely want to watch it again though - and usually need a few viewings to really get everything out of a movie like this.

I offered a similar deal to my wifes friend that had about 40k from teaching at her yoga studio. This was late 2022 and bitcoin around 20k. I do, I am just trying to show you that fiat isn't money. Trying to understand bitcoin as just "better fiat" is fundamentally incorrect as using a microprocessor as a faster abacus. A microprocessor can do that, but to limit it to doing basic arithmetic is not required for it to be adopted by society.

It's what money does: both storing value and means of exchanging. Growing up with fiat, we've forgotten what money is supposed to do. They are not exclusive properties, unless you use fiat.
Not that it matters...who cares what is in the White Paper? Did Nokola Tesla decree that electricity shall only be used to run electric motors? Even if he did, who fucking cares? I'll use it to heat my home, run my computers and laser beams and GPS satellites and world wide instant communication of ideas.
BITCOIN IS A TOOL, NOT A RELIGION. Use it however the fuck makes sense for you...Don't worry yourself with how I use it because there is nothing you can do about it.
