Can I add other nostrich's follow-packs to my list of lists? Rather than needing to recreate their list by following each person on another's follow pack, I'd like to just navigate to their follow pack the same as I can show the feed for my own follow pack. The "my lists" could have a third section "followed packs" where you can remove them from your followed packs? This way as the original author changes their list, it also updates your view of their list without you needing to re-hunt-down their follow pack in the "radio" menu.

Does it drive you nuts that to make your software's payment interface fully sovereign and KYC-free on the lightning network, you need it to have practically 100% uptime.

CashU solves these problems, but how do you do it with a headless system?
- This is how.
I wrote this to make my life easier. Maybe yours too.
Run a systemd daemon, nutshell-walletd.service, on your server under a unique system user, store CashU tokens on the filesystem with permissions only accessible through the API and by the superuser. There are no network leaks, you access it exclusively through a permissioned Unix domain socket.
There are three simple operations, the design is minimalistic:
1) get wallet balance.
2) get lightning invoice to be paid into wallet.
3) pay lightning invoice from wallet balance.
Operations 2 and 3 involve two additional calls to complete and monitor the transaction status. It is documented in the API specification.
Take a look at this document. The code is fully operational in the associated branch, I am using it with a custom lnbits funding source.

Totally agree ideologically, but the government deceives people with the flag, and they deceive soldiers with war propaganda and conditioning for service. It is impossible to separate the state from the symbol of the flag, the same as its impossible to separate the notion of borders from the notion of a state. The flag is the symbol used to identify a population within a border, but it also represents their government whether it obeys their will or not.

Well I did it. I implemented a Cashu funding source backend for LNbits and created a Unix domain socket rest API for nutshell so you can have a CashU wallet running as a daemon on your server that hosts lnbits. It works. I can mint and melt CashU tokens stored on the server via any lnbits account, and I don't need to run any NWC wallet to make it work. No more lightning channel management or 3rd party accounts for people that just want to make and receive lightning payments through an API. One could also run the nutshell wallet via tor and your server could be hosted on an onion address, and the web service could be completely anonymous yet send and receive payments without channel management.

No matter now secure your email encryption is, the email server is still the central weak point. The metadata (header information) is never encrypted, and we know the metadata is far more valuable than the message content. If you know who talked to whom and when, that's about all you need to know when tracing a target.
I've been running my own email servers since 1994. It is a federation system. I can tell you who sent what email to who and when at any time from the server logs. The very idea of thinking a honeypot like protonmail or signal as "the secure alternative" is exactly where the magnifying glass of the "eyes" will be focused, and there is no stopping governments from using force, persuasion or theft to acquire the information they want. It doesn't matter how "honest" or ideological the company may be, if the data is valuable (and it is), it will be exfiltrated.

Limiting OP_RETURN at the chain policy level is the only "conservative" choice. Flattening the fee rate for segwit, rather than offering a discount, would be a conservative choice. However performing active spam filtering at the chain policy level is going too far.
Rather than people focusing on the drama of the core team being infiltrated and compromised, and the pearl-clutching of the core-dev lapdogs, and the mutual tribal condemnation of core v.s. knots; why aren't we discussing solutions and/or the technical details of bip110?

## Persuasion Knob #4: Novelty
**One-sentence formulation:**
*Novelty captures attention by breaking expectation; the brain privileges what is new before it evaluates what is true.*
### Adams’ core observation
Scott Adams repeatedly notes that **the human brain is tuned to notice change, not importance**. What is familiar fades into the background, regardless of its value. What is new interrupts.
Novelty does not persuade by argument.
It persuades by *interrupting perception*.
This makes it one of the fastest ways to gain attention in a crowded environment.
### What novelty actually is
Novelty is not creativity for its own sake. It is **deviation from pattern**.
The brain is constantly predicting what comes next. When a prediction fails, attention spikes automatically. That spike is novelty.
