Men nowadays need to preface the speech with doubt signifiers such as "maybe," "kind of," "I think so" and "probably." They men are taught that truth and humility are good while deception and ego are bad. Is that true? Keep reading.
If a man never thinks he is better than a job, he will never seek a better one. If a man never thinks he is above his current position, he will never climb to higher positions. He must believe he is meant for something more which means he must nurture his ego and his view of self
This might seem controversial but "pride" is a neutral word. It can be good and it can be bad. Too much pride is a bad thing and too little pride is a bad thing. Why? Because the definition of pride is sense of one's own dignity.
Too much pride is arrogance while too little pride is low self-esteem. See? This is why I encourage to take pride in their masculinity. To take pride in their manhood and what that means to that responsibility. This generation of men have had their manhood demonized by women.
A man must first think he is worthy to hold authority over others before he does so. He must believe in himself and his sense of dignity. Pride is an elevated sense of our dignity. Is that bad? No. It can be bad when it falls into arrogance but elevating our self-worth is good.
Men must believe that they are endowed with authority over women. They must believe that they have inherited not only authority but also responsibility with that authority. The kingship is given to them, and they must rule with frame.
Remember, pride is neutral. A man can take pride in a job well done. A man can take pride in his role as a man. Pride must be managed. Do not moralize low self-esteem a humility. It is pathetic and false morality. Believe in yourself and seek power.

Mistake 1: Trying to fix everything
You'll want to solve all your child's problems. But part of growing up is learning how to navigate challenges. Instead of rushing in, ask guiding questions to help them find their own solutions.
Mistake 2: Neglecting yourself
You can't pour from an empty cup. There's nothing selfish about putting your own well-being first. If you want to be the best dad you can be, you need to be at your best. Period.
Mistake 3: Never being "fun"
Often, we take ourselves way too seriously. Some of your kids' best memories will come from having FUN with you. Be high energy. Be positive. And be a little weird. Your kids will thank you.
Mistake 4: Undermining your spouse
You and your wife must be in lockstep. You are a united front. Your kids need consistency. Show them what that looks like and never undermine your wife in front of them.
Mistake 5: Overworking
Your job isn't going anywhere. Your boss isn't going anywhere. Even if they do, you can find others. But one day your kids WILL ask you to play for the last time. Prioritize accordingly.
Mistake 6: Hiding emotions
I am NOT saying be an emotional loose cannon. If you're led by your emotions, you can't lead others. But by speaking calmly about your emotions with your kids, you're modeling mastery.
Mistake 7: Comparing your kids to others
Your kids are unique. Every child develops at their own pace. Nurture their self-esteem by avoiding comparisons. Every child has something special about them. Find those special things and fan the flames.
Mistake 8: Discounting their emotions
Validate their emotions. I'm not saying you have to endure endless tantrums. Instead, validate the emotion, and encourage calm discussion ABOUT the emotion. Deep breaths. Let them explore how and why they feel like they do.
Mistake 9: Forgetting to praise
So many of us get this wrong. Be lavish with your praise. Especially when you're praising traits you'd like to see more of in your kids. You always reap what you sow.
Mistake 10: Setting unrealistic expectations
You should have high hopes for your kids. But children are small. Under too much pressure, they break. Instead, be with them through ups and downs, and always look for the learning opportunity in successes and failures.
Mistake 11: Assuming they know we love them
"I love you." "I'm proud of you." These are words we should say often. Show them AND tell them. Leaving this unsaid leaves too much to interpretation. And interpretation can lead to doubt.
Mistake 12: Being inconsistent with rules
Consistency is key when it comes to discipline. Changing rules arbitrarily only leads to confusion. Not to mention it undermines your authority. Children can smell incompetence a mile away.
Mistake 13: Failure to apologize
You will make some big mistakes. And like it or not, those mistakes will often form core memories for your kids. Don't neglect the opportunity to bolster those memories by modeling how a man takes responsibility for his actions.
Mistake 14: Not giving independence
Kids need opportunities to become self-reliant. Otherwise, how will they ever learn? Give them real responsibilities. They can handle it. Let them fail. Then be there to pick them back up.
Mistake 15: Ignoring their interests
Do they like pokemon? Do they like princess dolls? Do you think these things are stupid? I don't care. Your job is now to like these things too. Take an interest in what they're interested in. This is how memories and bonds are made.
Mistake 16: Never explaining why
If your kids are like mine, their favorite word will be "why." So freaking tell them. "Because I said so," isn't a reason. Bonus points, when they ask why, ask "why do you think?" Then encourage them to answer thoughtfully. Critical thinking FTW
Mistake 17: Missing the small moments
Your best memories with your kids won't be the elaborate trips, or the expensive birthday parties. They'll be the small moments. The in-between moments. Don't be so distracted you miss them.
Mistake 18: Being a friend, not a parent
Yes it's important that your kids like you (I know ... controversial), but you always need to be a parent first. You are their safe harbor. You are their bumper lanes. You are their lighthouse. You aren't their bff.
Mistake 19: Taking over tasks
Just because you can do something "faster," doesn't mean you should take over. Kids learn by doing (we all do). Be patient. Patience is your most valuable resource as a dad. Let them complete tasks on their own.
Mistake 20: Neglecting your relationship with your wife
This is the most important item on the list. Without this, nothing else matters. Your marriage is the foundation. It represents the root of your family tree. Everything that grows from it depends on its health.
Invest just as heavily in your relationship as you do in yourself and in your kids.
Kids learn what love is from their parents. Model what it looks like. Through thick and thin.

Cicero wrote this praise of Caesar's abilities in the Second Philippics, a speech condemning Mark Antony. Cicero extolls Caesar's numerous qualities and abilities to make Mark Antony look incapable and untalented in comparison. This is clear in the next passage:
"With him I can, indeed, compare you as to your desire to reign; but in all other respects you are in no degree to be compared to him." - Cicero, 2nd Philippics, 117
Nevertheless, Cicero did believe what he wrote there about Caesar considering that he also praised the very high quality of Caesar's oratory and his commentaries on the Gallic Wars in some of his other writings.
Cicero disapproved of Caesar's politics and of what Caesar had done to the Republic. Hence, his recognition of Caesar's talents in many areas shows how well rounded and multitalented Caesar was.
Cicero wrote the following regarding Caesar's Commentaries on the Gallic Wars and the Civil War:
“But while he pretended only to furnish the loose materials, for such as might be inclined to compose a regular history, he may, perhaps, have gratified the vanity of a few literary embroiderers; but he has certainly prevented all sensible men from attempting any improvement on his plan. For in history, nothing is more pleasing than a correct and elegant brevity of expression.”
This was in a letter to Brutus.
Cicero praised Caesar as Rome's greatest orator after himself (very humble of Cicero of course...)
"But, however," said [Atticus], (addressing himself to Brutus) "I really think of Caesar, and every body else says the same of this accurate connoisseur in the Art of Speaking, that he has the purest and the most elegant command of the Roman language of all the Orators that have yet appeared: and that not merely by domestic habit, as we have lately heard it observed of the families of the Laelii and the Mucii, (though even here, I believe, this might partly have been the case) but he chiefly acquired and brought it to its present perfection, by a studious application to the most intricate and refined branches of literature, and by a careful and constant attention to the purity of his style. But that he, who, involved as he was in a perpetual hurry of business, could dedicate to you, my Cicero, a laboured Treatise on the Art of Speaking correctly, that he, who, in the first book of it, laid it down as an axiom, that an accurate choice of words is the foundation of Eloquence; and who has bestowed," said he, (addressing himself again to Brutus) "the highest encomiums on this friend of ours, who yet chooses to leave Caesar's character to me;—that he should be a perfect master of the language of polite conservation, is a circumstance which is almost too obvious to be mentioned."
This is from Cicero's Brutus/De claris oratoribus
This work is written in the form of a dialogue between Atticus, Brutus and Cicero about the skill of oratory and its history.
After this passage Cicero praises himself as the greatest orator, but he does speak very highly indeed of Caesar's speaking skills.
This passage mentions a text called the Art of Speaking. It is said to have been written by Caesar and dedicated to Cicero. It has unfortunately been lost.

3. Self massage, mobility stretches & muscle activation bulletproof your body from injury & should be staples in everyone's warm up.
4. 4 to 6 seconds down. 2 to 4 seconds up. Time under tension is one of the best ways to maximize muscle growth & avoid injury.
5. Gaining muscle does not make you look bulky. Having too much fat on your body does that.
6. One of the best ways to increase strength & muscle mass is to use the "mind to muscle" connection. It's not enough to lift. You must mentally activate your muscles.
7. The best supplement to build muscle is bringing an insane level of intensity to your workout. The next best are creatine & whey protein.
8. Protein is the most anabolic & thermogenic macro. Eat .8 to 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight.
9. After your workout do 5 minutes of box breathing. This puts your body in a parasympathetic mode & promotes faster recovery.

If you want to make millions as an entrepreneur, I’ve done it twice with two businesses in two different industries.
I also made a lot of mistakes along the way.
So here are 10 pieces of advice I’d give myself if I had to do it again:
1) Ideas without action mean nothing
You can have decades of experience and 1,000 great ideas...
But your ideas are worthless until you act on them.
If you want to hit a home run, you need to start swinging and learn along the way.
And if you're afraid of failure...
2) Stick to your values
You can talk yourself into anything...
But you should never betray your values.
If your gut reaction doesn't feel right, walk away or pivot.
But if you KNOW you're on the right track, double down.
Even if you're struggling.
3) Learn to say no
Time is your most valuable resource.
Nothing will slow down your progress (and kill your happiness) like spreading yourself too thin.
You can't help everyone. Be selective with how you spend your time.
4) Be irreplaceable
If you want to "make it" in business, you need to have something to offer that NO ONE else can give.
Make yourself so valuable that no single person can replace you.
Crank up your value and watch your network explode.
5) Ownership is everything
You can work your fingers to the bone, but if you don't have own the business...
You're building someone else's dream.
And remember: no partnership is forever.
There's another critical aspect of ownership most ignore:
Ownership of your mistakes and failures.
Pushing blame on others and avoiding responsibility will kill your career faster than you can say "scammer".
You need to have a zero-tolerance policy on bullshit.
6) Be persistent
One thing is certain: business is not for the weak.
You will have failures. You'll burn out.
Sometimes, you'll feel like you've wasted years of your life.
But you need to keep going.
Winners all have at least one thing in common:
They didn't quit.
7) Avoid bad debt
Learning how to leverage debt is a big part of the game.
Cashflow should be your priority so avoid spending it on things like clothes or cars you can't afford.
Instead, learn how to use debt to execute on ideas to grow your business.
8) Stay humble
Once you get a taste of success...
You need to keep your head on straight. The game is just beginning.
No better way to burn it all to the ground than to let success go to your head.
Keep it quiet and humble.
9) See setbacks as lessons
If you've read my threads, you know I've had my fair share of setbacks.
By all logic, they should have ruined me.
Instead, I used failure as a springboard
and leveled up.
Now, I have a ton of insane stories and a boatload of experience.
10) Don't be too proud to learn
"Having it all figured out" is overrated.
You can only stop learning if you DECIDE to stop learning.
You know you've made it when you're the dumbest person in the boardroom.

You want to lose weight but crave cheesecake.

4. Audit your day
Write everything you do as you go through the day.
Before bed, review your list and note what doesn't align with your goals.
Tomorrow, make it a priority not to do them again.
5. Visualize achieving your goals
Your brain can't tell the difference between real and imagined outcomes.
Imagine achieving your goals visually and your brain will feel it's already accomplished it.
Putting you in a state to take action.
6. Do valuable tasks first
What's the most valuable task you could do today to move closer to your goals?
Make it a habit to do it when you first wake up.
Before email, messages, and boring tasks clutter your calendar.
7. Start small
Change too many habits at once and you're guaranteed to revert to your old habits.
Pick one thing you'd like to change. Make it a habit. Repeat.
8. Have friends hold you accountable
Use social pressure as a motivator.
Ask your friends, business partners, or spouse to hold you accountable to your goals.
Then rise to the occasion. Don't let them down.
9. Don't expect to be perfect
We can't all be Dwayne Johnson.
There will be days when you don't practice discipline.
Don't beat yourself up. Just start again tomorrow.
10. Take care of yourself
Discipline becomes increasingly difficult as you get tired.
• Get plenty of sleep
• Stay hydrated
• Eat healthy
• Exercise
Discipline will always be easier when you're feeling good.
