I have an issue I’d really like opinions on.
A nephew of mine is getting married this month. There’s one thing they’re planning on changing which is the garter toss.
Fine no one cares.
HOWEVER he thinks it will be funny to throw a rubber garter snake.
Both of his grandmothers are phobic. My daughter as well. Who knows how many people there won’t appreciate the ‘snake’. My sister got quite huffy when she shared the surprise snake toss and I said it wasn’t a good idea.

Just had an unpleasant encounter with the Trumpanzee neighbor behind me. He’s been cutting and clearing so before he had an accidentally on purpose ‘oops’ with one of my old growth oaks and cedars I went out and roped my property line. Grateful the surveyor used old school ring eye posts so it was easy. Trumpanzee is NOT happy as he had an eye on some trees. Told him I was very sorry but I had no intention of cutting down anything.

it’s not only possible, but quite close to probable. One of my sisters nieces was held coming back into the country from France for almost 6 hours a few weeks ago, we only just heard about it.
But with an Italian mother and an Iranian father, she’s exactly the right color that they hold. Both she and her mother were born here, but apparently it didn’t make any difference.
We are living in very dangerous times.

For the longest time we were forced to have a PO Box because being on a dirt road in the country, the systems did not recognize us as a real address . We’d try to fill in and get red boxed. I just about lost my mind trying to get prescriptions by mail. Wouldn’t accept the house address. Would not ship to a post office box.
