Agree. I’ve had literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in therapy. My biggest gains in mental health have been obtained by eating right, physical activity, paying attention to getting sunshine and keeping circadian rythym balanced, meditation/prayer, seeking truth and learning, seeking the right community/cutting toxic people. I am very far from perfect and am willing to openly acknowledge my faults.

I completely agree about the nuance. A key part of that nuance is recognizing how insecurity actually manifests. True strength requires the emotional fortitude to self-reflect, whereas weak men will almost always prioritize defending a fragile ego. Rather than doing the difficult internal work, they lash out and attack the wrong targets just to manufacture a superficial sense of power.

This is what I got from it too. It’s like God ripped the fabric of my known reality away and it didn’t exist and neither did I. Time and space did not exist it was pure light of the hottest brightest white light and pure darkness of the coldest dark and they were intertwined. I’ve made friends with the hawks and turkey vultures. They fly along side me on runs and I spread out my arms to signal them. I swear they try to teach me to hunt by pointing out where the critters are and then landing on branches waiting for me to make my kill. 😆

I can’t really say for sure. It was a special set of circumstances that led me to it and I would say if you feel called do your research. From my understanding it’s pretty safe in the correct dosage, setting, and support. I would not recommend going to some flaky thing in Tulum.

If I ever recommended this book to you it’s because I consider you a friend. I read it through my physical healing journey and found it helpful. My sister recommended it to me. I don’t evangelize for anything in particular including psychedelics. Not everything is one sized fits all of course.

The crazy thing is I’ve been half listening to bitcoiners for almost a decade. DYOR. When I bought Bitcoin I did it on Coinbase and it took a couple years for me to feel confident enough to move it and that was back in the days you had to be bullied on Reddit to get your information. Why haven’t Satoshi’s coins been swept? ENTROPY. The problem is most people are working with an IQ of 100 or less and I’m going to get in trouble for saying all of this but DON’T LISTEN TO BITCOIN “BROS”. They are not Gods. And if you do, practice critical thinking and discernment. Yes I’m an asshole, inconvenient truths are triggering I get it.
