So another round of antibiotics... It seems like I have some resistant asshole sitting between my nose and throat. Yeah, I remember those days too. Maybe because of my age I never doubted anyone young would have a problem with internet, email, etc. I accepted that there are people unwilling to try, but that is something different... I believe I was able to read only in Czech back then and somehow I was able to find and use Nepster.
I might be too pessimistic about the ability of a significant number of people to use AI for meaningful enhancement of their intellect, but the absolute control of human robots by AI sounds super dystopian. Brrr, a caste system of AI operators, AI, and the caste of human drones...
It reminds me of a story from the early days of management theory when Taylor was training everyone to be like Schmidt. Just constant and in absolute totality.

No doubt it is happening/will happen. The worry is that less intelligent people will not be able to use it. Anyone can shoot a gun, almost anyone can operate a car. It is not about the will, but the ability... If we take this far enough, we can split into two species, similar to the Eloi and Morlocks in that old sci-fi novel.
The only question is the percentage and whether we can lower it. For example, now it might be 80% AI-compatible versus 20% AI-incompatible, significant enough for a societal shift. As time goes by, will the number of AI-incompatible people increase because enhancements become too complex, or decrease because better AI products and UX lower the intellectual threshold?
It is also possible that the split is 99.5 vs. 0.5% and I'm completely wrong worrying about it.

I'm not sure if intellect and strength work the same way. I'm honestly worried about the opposite effect, you could end up with a significant number of AI-incompatible people/brains, and the intellectual gap would widen, not close. I'm not sure how to measure smartness, but imagine that right now the smart person is 3× smarter than the dumb person. What would it do to a society if smart people became 10× smarter and dumb people stayed the same?

No to přeci úplně ne. Nebo jinak, kdo jsou oni? "Oni," jako vláda a úředníci, nebo více konkrétně zřizovatelé těch jednotlivých agend, za ten pytel blech určitě můžou. Tohle není úplně fér... Dělat takovýhle systém je jako šít svetr pro pytel blech. Správný postup by byl to celé zjednodušit a pak na to roubovt nějaký systém.
