Hi - it looks like keysend payments to your node ([email protected]) are intermittently failing.
For the top boost example on this episode - the 4,242 sats were sent by @nprofile…n59y with an NWC wallet connected to Fountain. When splits fail on a boost from an NWC wallet - we refund the split amount to the Lightning Address of the connected NWC wallet - and I can see the refund was processed so @nprofile…n59y should see a 4,284 refund payment in their NWC wallet - I can share the invoice and preimage for the refund if that's helpful.
The status of each payment split should be visible in the Fountain wallet for NWC transactions - so any user can check in the app and should see a REFUNDED status for any splits that failed. Transaction Reference IDs are also available on the transaction detail page.
If you would like me to check other specific examples - please send an email to [email protected] with the Transaction Reference ID and I can check them for you.
Let me know if that all makes sense.

The new trending feed combines different signals to rank notes including zap value, reactions, and recency to highlight a broad set of recommendations.
We’ve also re-written the backend so feed queries along with comments, threads, and profiles now load much faster.

Yes you can always download the latest APK from our website - http://fountain.fm/apk
One thing to note is that if you're switching between Play Store version and APK sometimes you need to delete the app first - you won't lose your library when doing this - only downloaded audio.

Yes it is a bit hidden - we've considered playing video by default for episodes with video - but I'm not 100% sure it's the right approach - will try and make the switch to video option more obvious.
On Amber signer - we're aware of an issue that sometimes can affect the remote signer if signing is not set to automatic - we have a fix that should be live in the next 48 hours - version 1.4.9

- On sats per minute - the minimum is currently 10 sats per minute but we will definitely consider lowering it if (when) the bitcoin price rises considerably

What makes podcasting special is choice - you can listen in any app - and creators can host anywhere or even self-host.
Recently we've seen more podcasters recording video - and last week Apple Podcasts announced they will soon add support for video podcasts.
But what we don't want to see with video podcasts is more walled gardens with platform lock-in.
The good news - there is already an open standard for delivering video versions of episodes - the RSS <podcast:alternateEnclosure> tag. If you host your podcast with Fountain - the video versions of episodes use this tag meaning any app can ingest the video and offer listeners the option to switch to video right from the player.
Apple have historically been good stewards of open podcasting - and I hope that they will adopt the alternate enclosure tag with their video implementation.

@nprofile…62he since Wavlake don't support feed redirects - the best thing for Artists if they want to switch to self-hosting is to delete their content from Wavlake after they've setup new feeds on Music Side Project.
However if not done correctly this creates another issue of duplicate artist profiles in Fountain and other apps. Maybe Music Side Project could have an "Import from Existing Feed" function that maintains the publisher, album, and track guids?
The most important thing is that the guids stay the same - if this is the case we can resolve duplicates on our side easily without losing any of the nostr data.

On sharing to nostr - we removed this option as we're working on more native sharing flow that should be coming soon - for now you can share either the link or the video natively by saving it and then posting from your main nostr client.

The NIP-84 spec says this:
"A comment tag may be added to create a quote highlight. This MUST be rendered like a quote repost with the highlight as the quoted note. This is to prevent the creation and multiple notes (highlight + kind 1) for a single highlight action, which looks bad in micro-blogging clients where these notes may appear in succession."
Based on this your highlight share would appear twice in client feeds that follow the spec?
Not saying one way is better than the other but would be great to have alignment between clients on the proper way to share highlights to feeds.

It's great that damus renders a play button when these links are shared - but the pre-loading means we have to filter out any download stats for damus because we're not sure they represent real plays.
