Hey I'm still looking for work.
I've applied to a lot of places in my area and I'm getting nothing.
I'm a programmer at heart, but I've also been looking for regular entry-level jobs because there haven't been any coding positions open at my level as far as I could tell.

The same applies to YouTube if we're being honest. They've completely ruined their monetization with ads that make the viewing experience awful and policies that make it unviable for anyone except a major corporation or a rare individual that YouTube favors to make money off of it.
Most creators on YouTube rely entirely on an external monetization platform for income.
The only way PeerTube is different is that it doesn't have the mainstream audience of YouTube, so it may never have as many good creators.
