After FTX, get your bitcoin into cold storage! After Coldcrap, your safer on an exchange. People using FTX eventually got 120% back in usd. Hope people that lost funds on Coldcrap, the 'gold standard', get made whole somehow.

Gm. I understand. After FTX, I freaked. Bit the bullet and moved to cold storage. That was the longest 30 minutes of my life. Now I am rethinking everything. The people on FTX eventually got paid back close to 120% in cash(usd). Maybe an exchange or etf is at least a way to diversify your coin. No way I'm leaving my sats in one spot.

Foe those curious It's roughly
6 parts tung oil
2-3 parts beeswax
1 part pune tar
5-8 parts mineral spirits to thin it up for good penetration .
Melt beeswax in tung oil in double boiler situation. Add pine tar. Thin with mineral spirits. Keep warm to remain liquid. As it cools it will conceal into a nice polishing cream. Can use for additional coats or warm back up to liquefy.

I must admit that some of the hope Bitcoin gave me is gone. That sucks. Can't go through life never trusting anyone or anything. I can't verify code nor do I want to spend precious time trying. So I will diversify into things I am comfortable with. Bitcoin will still be in there. How much is the question. Nostr has introduced me to some wonderful people. I'm grateful 🙏
