Hamstr does currently not implement tagging correctly when creating posts. It will render "@<pubkey>" as a link in the final post, but this will not generate a notification for the tagged user. It's at the top of my list of post features to implement.

No, I haven't gotten around turning it into a PWA yet, but I'm going to look into it. Should hopefully be fairly straightforward as the framework I'm using comes with PWA support. Thanks for trying out Hamstr ❤️

- Add option to restrict feed to people you follow
- Add infinite scroll
- Filter some spammy posts by default
- Improve load times

Without having run any benchmarks, a database bottleneck might be that astral is storing events as JSON strings, making it necessary to call `json_extract` for every single property access which will impact performance. You could instead try to store the individual event properties into separate columns/tables, which should not only help with performance but also make the queries cleaner.

Working on that 👍 After rebuilding Hamstr from scratch, it's now missing a lot of features that were present in the original astral-based prototype. On my list are still some basics like reposts, proper notifications and DMs, but I'm planning to add some more advanced features after that. Maybe NostrPlebs integration?

Hamstr has been completely rebuilt from the ground up and is no longer based on astral. This means that it's leaner and faster 🏎️
Now with NIP07 browser extension support!

Glad you like it 😊 Thank you for all the work you have been putting into astral 🙏 I removed the browser extension support by accident, going to put it back in once I have revamped the backend a bit.
