Fighting was the best decision I ever made, but it's risky. I trained for 2 years before I started fighting (in my 30s). Especially for boxing, IMO you need to spend a lot of time getting defense to become 2nd nature or your first fight is going to be like rockem' sockem' robots. Good luck sir.
