I'd be lying to you guys if I didn't claim to be saddened by Ozzy's passing, but he lived a really full life considering his upbringing, and career ups and downs. He not only got to have one final show/celebration in his hometown, he then passed without dissolving before our eyes.
Dimebag Darrell's death was truly shocking (getting murdered on stage and all), and Peter Steele's death was much more emotionally difficult for me to deal with (April 14, 2010 was already a bad day for me, and finding out one of my idols died didn't help matters). We all sort of knew Ozzy was near the end, though I suspected it would be months after the last show, not a couple weeks after.

As soon as California declared itself a "sanctuary state" a real country would have declared an insurrection and removed the legislature and executive of that state by force. The courts could then take the next six months pondering this while the people responsible for California's decline cool off in federal custody.
Of course we haven't been a serious country in ages.

My turbo/CVT combo actually responds pretty quickly to putting your foot down, and even faster in "sport" mode. My other car has a pretty responsive automatic too.
I once drove a 5th gen Camaro 6.2 and punched it from 25ish MPH, and it had at least a full second delay before commanding a downshift into what I assume was first. Modern tuning really is a "your mileage may vary" game.

I literally had to explain the last time I got my car serviced at the dealership that they literally did nothing to the car the whole 90+ minutes I was waiting. I then stood there and watched them actually service the car.
I haven’t been back, and DIY everything now.
