Last Friday three panel judges changed section 1226 of title eight. Three states, Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana no longer release folks with habeus. The 2 nastiest judges gamed it. They waited until they were both on the same panel. Next step is the 12 panel judge will vote. This is called En blanc. If that fails it goes up to SCOTUS. For now, detainis in those three states, once deported, are out. This will change. But there's a window for the fascism.

Historically and according to the data our best bet at eliminating fascism is through the fourth amendment. UNIDOS MN is taking the lead on 4th amendment trainings. We have to deny them service, lodging, food.

When Minnesota folks share updates, we have to assume that ice now has that information. Our legal teams tell us to upload video to ACLU and our legal teams. Accountability will come in the future and we don't want the other side to have our Intel. But plenty of people haven't been trained and share information. That's OK too.

My county keeps cutting funding for kids & giving more money to police. The architecture of the police buildings is exquisite. The kids read 23 year-old science books. I love Minnesota but you have to lean into the cold. The last couple winters it has not snowed very much. But the winter before that it snowed massively. There is no tax on food or clothing here. I find housing reasonable (from California), but Minnesotans say it's expensive and they move to the Dakotas to live cheaply. Always a temporary move. It's better here.
