yeah i hate these too
often times i just skip the fields and then edit the issue, stripping out all the field labels. i guess its probably helpful for the tech illiterate but please just give me an option to write what i mean
in a similar vein is those "i have read the code of conduct, i have searched for similar issues, etc." checkboxes.
theyre probably helpful but they end up in the resulting issue and its a huge eyesore when ur trying to read through issues

do you just go raw, no autocomplete and warnings? to each to their own i suppose. i find it pretty helpful, much more tha nothing at all. i can ignore irrelevant errors and suggestions but i cant unignore things from nothing. saves me the effort of having to bring up documentation and catches trivial errors too

omnisharp is no longer recommended, especially as a general-purpose lsp. so things have gotten better in that area. why don't you like LSPs? i don't know how it is in VSC but it's great in helix, just download the binary and now u got full language support.
also that seems like ur talking abt .net runtime for android yeah thats pretty annoying if u mess up one of the million steps in the build process

c#s gotten a lot better theres not much java-esque boilerplate now. non-vs tooling is a lot better now too, vsc integration is great, if u want to use cli+lsp u can too (although there are still a few rough edges). rider is still the best unfortunately though.
maui for android is still pretty bad. that much hasn't changed. u pretty much gotta use vs(c)/rider for that. if u use smth like avalonia or uno it's fine.

looks like ur laptop model has a NL40BAT battery. 3 cell variant and 4 celled with 36 wh and 49 wh respectively. not sure what u mean by larger capacity since it looks like the tuxedo comes with the 4 cell.
manufacturer definitely does matter you want OEM brands like simplo rather than cheap aftermarket/3rd party clones
ilaptopbattery[dot]co[dot]uk seems very unreliable to me and it looks like they operate out of china. wouldnt trust it.
anyways id just get the [official](https://www.tuxedocomputers.com/en/Akku-fuer-Aura-15.tuxedo). laptopwithlinux also sells but theyre 85$. might have some decent options off ebay but u want to be careful to get a "genuine" product.
