I thought I paid attention, but I found out today that the FDA withdrew approval of the #COVID vaccine for most people. My healthcare provider had a longish explanation of why it still recommends it, but also required that I be told about the FDA's decision and specially consent after being informed.
And instead of just going to the nurse, the nurse had to seek an order from my doctor.
The next COVID epidemic should be interesting.

I'll need to learn how apps work on a watch. Nothing like an app exists in Coros. Are the apps free?

Does it have a race pacer?
I think it is the watch I am going to get to replace my Coros Pace 3. That would mean a move to the Suuntu "ecosystem," and I'm willing but uncomfortable. :)

Yesterday, watch charged to 92%. Watch says 22 hours of battery left. Did a 90 minute workout. Watch now reports 6 hours left. After a short rest, 16 hours left.
I've had the watch for two years and two weeks. Warranty is two years. :)

I've used #Coros for many years.
Coros now has support bot that masquerades as a real person named Cara. Cara's form letters are the first few rounds of any support exchange. It asks for a bunch of useless information and, in my experience, misdiagnoses the problem and doesn't pass the information on to a real person. So, the real person asks the same questions again.

I'm not sure I understand the horrors of this change. Couldn't one get the books onto one's Kindle and then copy them from the Kindle to a computer?
(I have a kobo that is wonderful and know little about the Kindle world. Certainly not defending Amazon.)

Thinking about dystopian novels and reading the comments and suggestions, helped me realize something: At present, I want to read about something positive or, at least, maybe some time period that was horrid but has now ended.
I see the prospect of (maybe the reality of) dystopia inching closer and closer every time I read the news!

Hi! Just wondering what a lactic diagnosis is.
I'd offer advice, but though I've been running for 50 years, I'm still baffled. The only thing I can offer is: do a variety of workouts - mainly ready and slow but speed and tempo days, too - on a set, regular schedule. That's what has worked best for me over the years.

Went for a trail run in Rocky Mountain National Park after a snowstorm. Cleats and skate skiing poles. Route finding in the snow was sometimes challenging. Very fun but hard for me.

Back in #Aoshima #Japan where the weather has cooled a bit and #running has become much easier. Seven miles of tempo/threshold intervals as the sun rose over the ocean. Stunning.
