The miner signalling. Last I checked it was at 0.3%. Bitcoin will only be disrupted if that goes up to 50%. Luke-Coin can peacefully exist along Bitcoin if no more than 33% are reached. If the 50% are reached quickly, Luke's rules get merged into Bitcoin smoothly, which would be somewhat disruptive but certainly better than some 45% forking off.
So 0.3 is not the likelyhood of drama. I just made a joke around that number being 0 at first approximation.

Context is important. The rule is: "Content that harms the reputation of Codeberg, such as cryptocurrency related projects" and it's a part of the "You must not share any content that's expressing hate or encouraging violence towards a person or group for any reason." rule.
If a project does not harm the reputation of Codeberg (e.g. by scamming people or doing other shady stuff) it does not fall under this specific rule. And if it did, it would be a TOS violation even before the change. Cryptocurrency (the scammy kind) was just added as an example here.
With a lot of creativity and a complete lack of trust in Codeberg you could read this backwards as "All remotely cryptocurrency related projects harm Codebergs reputation, so they must be banned" , but that's not what this rule actually says.
Another common argument is that this rule could be abused to attack or harm 'good' projects. We all know how a bad laws (e.g. copyright) can be used as a weapon of suppression. For big platform, it's way easier and also more safe to quickly act on complaints instead of investigating. Users are guilty by default and must prove they are not. Vague rules are very dangerous under those circumstances. The Codeberg TOS situation is fundamentally different though: No one has any 'right' to get AI or crypto projects removed from Codeberg. Trolls cannot file false claims en masse and demand action to get someone else in trouble. If they do, then Codeberg mods can quickly dismiss those false claims, they do not have to disprove them. Banning a project is way more work than not banning it, so there will be no 'purge' and no mass-banning. No one has time for that. We just need to get rid of the worst and most obvious offenders, that's all. Humans with brains will decide on a per-project basis.

I think I'm on the side of reason. Also it's not just a one-dimensional thing. There's a whole bag of considerations with switching to BIP110 and spam vs. no-spam is not even up for votes.
BIP110 doesn't stop or reduce spam just as Core30 didn't enable or augment spam as any chart tracking those metrics can show you.
With that, "shitcoins on Bitcoin" is equally not affected by this change in relay policy and won't by BIP110.
Corruption in Core: I don't vote on the people behind the implementations. Bitcoin is an open protocol and while Core has a lot of influence, Core can't force any bad change at will.
I'm curious to learn about Adam Back's Epstein connection but again, it does not reflect on what software is good or bad.
Saylor is questionable and always was. So what?
Just because Faketoshi attacks Bip110 doesn't mean it must be good. Faketoshi is a bad actor but let's not further inflate his ego. He doesn't know how things work. His judgement is irrelevant.

Knots is right on track to cause a minority chain split. Weeks before mandatory signalling BIP110 runners claim still to be determined to keep running BIP110. If August 7th comes and less than 50% of miners signal BIP110, you get a chain split.
I see how mandatory signalling can make a soft fork a success even if only a minority cares but with a minority less than lets say 20% this doesn't work. Nobody knows how big that minority group needs to be but I'm confident claiming that 0.3% is not enough and I would be shocked if 10% were enough.

What's the problem with the 55%?
In their heads, that nothing-burger of a changed OP_RETURN limit is the end of Bitcoin and now they postulate to stick to the BIP110 rules even if miners fail to signal at 55% or any %%. I find 55% actually the most honest threshold for this kind of fork. New features like SegWit should use slightly higher thresholds as you don't want big re-orgs and 55% is a thin margin in case on fork-day some flip back on their commitment.
There are several possible outcomes here:
1. BIP110 gives up on Aug7
2. BIP110 maintains a minority fork indefinitely like BCH and BSV
3. BIP110 maintains a roughly 50% fork that might or might not re-org into Bitcoin down the road.
4. BIP110 succeeds
n° 3 is the absolute worst possible outcome and the threshold of 55% doesn't affect that one inch. The mandatory signalling on August 7th is the poison pill that makes this fork a desperate measure with potentially catastrophic outcome.
Luckily all this discussion is rather academic by the looks of the respective hash rates.

Unless somethong new came out today, I stand by my post. Neither Luke nor Core want to harm Bitcoin.
Luke could act Machiavellian if he decided Bitcoin was incompatible with his Catholicism which csam could very well trigger but I don't think he intends to harm it now. I think he genuinely believes that bip110 can make a dent in spam.

You are understating the main difference a bit.
By using a bunker, the client can temporarily abuse the keys for things I explicitly allowed but bunker can still hold taps on things I never allowed or throttle the things I did allow in ways the client cannot know.
Bunkers so far are not that sophisticated but I anticipate them to profile behavior and require approval when dark patterns are detected. For example I might allow signing kind-1 events but future bunkers might totally lock up if that happens more than 20 times in a minute. The user could then investigate what happened and increase the threshold or remove the abusing client.

Uncapping of op_return was not a consensus change and resulted in no up-tick of big op_returns as it was already "uncapped" by libre relay. Fork off but I recommend to study the topic well. The changes Core did were technically a code clean up but turned socially into a cluster fuck claiming a new stance on arbitrary data.

Fair points, all four. Where I land on them:
Pixel-flip piracy: this version deliberately has no payouts worth stealing. The creator share is indexed to serving cost - cents per GB - so re-uploading a hot video earns the pirate pocket change while burning a vouched identity. Serving is meant to be a race to the bottom. And people who want free OnlyFans already have BitTorrent, at a better price than "pay a subscription first".
Sponsorship risk: you underwrite your five, not your whole tree. A tier-3 doing nasty stuff is their direct sponsor's problem on first offense. It only climbs toward you on repetition, because sock-puppeting a clean tier-1 to spawn disposable tier-3s must not fly. Graduated liability with depth, not one strike anywhere in the tree and your account is gone. If the reflex is still "then I invite nobody" - fine, leave your slots vacant. The system prices vouching honestly instead of pretending it's free; the empty-slot equilibrium you predict is what every private tracker's invite system disproved for two decades.
Expiry: the five-year-old tutorial is storage-heavy, egress-light - the opposite cost profile of what this model prices. It survives for cents a month via a patron being its paying reader of record, and a proper storage-patronage layer is explicitly version 2 material. But note what expiry buys in return: egress currently has no funding model at all, and demand-driven rent is also the incentive to mirror hot content across servers.
NAS latency: the tier check isn't a graph walk per segment - WoT distance resolves once per pubkey and caches. Per-segment work is a counter decrement. And no, a rural NAS won't host the next streaming event alone. It'll be one of a hundred mirrors of it, which is the entire point.

I have no hard data but at @npub1j9k…uswx we are working on reproducibility. It's our bread and butter and our engineers are heavily using LLMs all the time to reproduce. Without LLM, we used to tell wallet providers "it failed to reproduce" and had very limited resources to dig really deeper and suggest improvements. Now it's just some prompts to an LLM more to get a well researched issue opened with the providers.

Well, youtube enforces that bs precisely because no competitor is near critical mass and by holding up bs rules instead of challenging them in court, they hurt their competitors.
To compete, blossom would need a monetization model that gave it strength in numbers. Any competitor distributing uncut podcasts would get into trouble, so they need to be either too big to sue or small enough to not be worth suing. Blossom could do that latter.

Hosting is never "per mb". You need a time dimension, too.
Those services are not yet very sophisticated. One tier. Maybe three. Can't pay as you go, which probably is because they want something like rent.
Also they probably want you to over pay on your initial sign up to keep out nasty stuff. A service that lets you upload 700mb for a three month hosting a razor margins would get all the nasty stuff quickly.
