Makes you wonder if it isn't all on purpose.
If we zoom way out, it's the convergence of cycles across millenia, centuries and decades (fourth turning). The weight of these simultaneously is triggering. I don't think a person alive isn't feeling something.
I'm going to touch grass more. In my opinion the darkness continues through 2027, then we begin to understand the shift that has been occurring. The lightness begins its return but it will be imparative that we haven't lost our tuning to the frequency. Keeping our signal finely tuned over the next 24 months will be key. It is very easy to get swallowed up in all the FUD.

I agree totally with you on derivatives and treasuries, they are not what Bitcoin was built for. I've taken the stance that Bitcoin is for our enemies as well as our friends. Bitcoin must survive all attacks, including Wall St's manipulation.

If you believe Saylor, the Clarity Act brings banks and otherwise regulated institutions to Bitcoin. At the same time he talks about re-hypothication.
@nprofile…m5x7 acknowledges that a recent change allowing for in-kind redemptions for ETF products allows for settlement in Bitcoin. As she states this is a very good thing but it does still keep the door open to paper Bitcoin and thus false supply dynamics.
As the musical chairs game begins, the market will absolutely scramble for settlement as some contract holders will otherwise be locked out, similar to what's been happening lately with Silver. The contracts will be offered settlement in fiat but other than cuck buck gains, there's no upside as the Bitcoin supply continues to dwindle. They'll have fiat but not Bitcoin.
We just don't know when this all goes down. My guess is that the battle for control of the Fed will be the signal. Will Warsh acquiesce to the Trump Admin and the Fed and Treasury become one in the same? If so, how they stick handle through the collapse of the Federal reserve note and all derivatives associated to that is what we must watch.
Pessimistically, I feel Trump is in the pocket of Israel. The bombing of Iran today certainly suggests that. Israel will demand the world reserve remain the US dollar at the central bank level.
Does Trump have an ulterior motive? I'm not optimistic that he does.
All of this is simply the reality of where we are at today with Bitcoin. Nothing has changed with the fundamentals or the math. The only thing that will make a difference over a long period of time is self-custody. I believe the movement of precious metals recently shows us that direction. Physical over paper.
Agentics will only work on digital obviously. Tether is pushing XAUt, why wouldn't they? Stable coins may be what we settle on for the payment rails. If this becomes the case then the warning of @nprofile…eqct will have been prophetic. Bitcoin will be a store of value not a medium of exchange. At least not in the mass market.
We can do our part by spending Bitcoin into the circular economies mentioned (#BitcoinBeach) in the previous note and where we met. The more of these we can establish and support like @nprofile…zeyv the faster we set an alternative path for those who have seen and been adversely impacted by the manipulation of central control.
The optimist in me still looks at the Bitcoin protocol and recognizes that no one can stop me from sending peer-to-peer money. I participate and fully endorse spending Bitcoin into circular economies. Bitcoin Beach and Berlín in El Salvador are excellent examples of this. There it works every day as money. Not only as a form a payment but merchant "A" will go to merchant "B" and spend money they've recieved over the week. The velocity is what keeps this flourishing.
Aaron Day has created a conclusion and then he's gone about finding information that supports that. So leaving out important details which exemplify Bitcoin scaling (Lightning among them) is not surprising. He probably doesn't even know about it because he's never looked. Investigating as to why one might be wrong, is not conducive to a shills need for face time on the pods.
Frankly, I find it despicable.

I guess what I was referring to is more of a New York sophistication thing, rather than throwing on a t-shirt. From Jazz to blues the players dressed for their gig. I'm not saying you need to wear a suite that's definitely more Jazz, but a cool shirt, a hat or a vest, says "I'm a performer" and caring how one presets themselves to their audience is a sign of respect and gratitude for that audience.

Now this is a cage match I'd love front row seats to. If this goes to trial and a jury hears arguments, I'd be very surprised if they were sympathetic to Live Nation.
The hubris from this company is appalling but right on brand. They see ticket buyers as moronic mouth breathers and after raking each and every one of them over the coals, extracting as much money as possible, the buyer then becomes a liability. One for which they now need to honor the agreement with.
Not on trial for this but...
Live Nation does more to kill live music than help it flourish.
If I sound bitter, it's because I am. This is all too reminiscent of my years playing professionally and being controlled by another monopolistic organization (management company) Sam Feldman and Associates. Feldman controlled almost every room (100s) across Western Canada. If you wanted to play, you played by their rules and that meant - NO ORIGINALS! Feldman put bands on the road with a budget liability of a small tour. 5-ton truck to haul a mini concert set up, PA, lights and backline. After paying the crew, the truck, gas etc, the bands were left with a few hundred dollars, from a $6000 a week gig. Meanwhile Sam Feldman and Associates took 15% off the top from every band booked into every room all the while killing original/independent music. Parasitic behavior like this and that of Live Nation needs to be wiped out.
The DOJ might be a start but it's also incumbent on us. We might need to make some tough choices and if that means not seeing a favorite act in protest of the abhorrent practices Live Nation enforces, then it at least signals a vote with our wallet. Instead of paying top dollar + service charges for a Live Nation show, take a friend to your local independent club. The price will wash. You aren't feeding the beast and you're supporting the true champions of live music and the players who earn their living through door receipts and merch.

This has been a steady trend for 2 generations now. Began with high school dances changing from a live band to a DJ.
The next attack was liquor tax. In many regions the "sin tax" added 20-25% to the cost of goods. This had to be passed on to the consumer. Bar managers noted the decline in nightly receipts and only so much would be acceptable by the patrons in cost escalation or they'd go elsewhere. This left few options for managers to cut costs. Entertainment was the victim. From rooms hosting bands for 6 straight nights to 3 nights over a weekend, eventually lead to duos and singles acts. Bands had trouble finding places to play. Few gigs, fewer clubs and much less exposure to live music.
Computers, Internet and Mp3s were the kill shot. Rather than buying a band's album in anticipation of an upcoming tour in your town or one close by, listeners "snacked" on music like hors d'oeuvres. Play a track then switch to something else. Often only playing a single heard on heavy rotation. The concept of a B-side was lost, as was the long play format.
If live music ever had a chance to come out of its coma, streaming took it off of life support.
As a result of the above; music became about the latest musical fad rather than discovery. The formula involved 13 weeks. Push a song performed by anyone that fit the suit, pump it then dump it. Song factories wrote the hit and everything started to sound similar, so it mattered not who performed the number. It became about how they looked or about something shocking to break through the overcrowded soundscape of millenial woop sound alikes.
Inevitably, music became a throw away. Rather than a vinyl album that is a part of an audiophile's treasured collection, music is now merely background to a Tik Tok influencer's 15 min of fame. The band that wrote the song (if it isn't in fact AI), gets no recognition. Their musical work is treated like the paper liner on an In-N-Out Burger tray.
Bands haven't been appreciated for what they do or how they impact our lives for more than 40 years now. Unless they are crammed down the throats of the pre-teen set (Taylor Swift) most will have no connection to the idea that music is performed live.
Independent venues are the last bastions of a culture that used to thrive, launch careers and break out talent on a nightly basis. Go to the club Monday, check out the band to see if they're happening, if so, you'd be back Friday and maybe Saturday too. You could stumble across an act that was touring in support of an album you'd never heard on local radio. After they blew the doors off the place, you were at the record store the very next day buying their album and then sharing it with friends who'd also go grab a copy.
We need to support independent clubs as an endangered keystone species. Otherwise their loss will cause a cascading effect across a system barely hanging on. If we let this element of the music world go extinct, it will never come back and the knock on effects will only be apparent when irreparable damage is done.
Projects on Nostr like @nprofile…u5e4 are doing something about this threatened extinction event. Using the Internet to launch independent artists and put a cushion beneath them until they are able to draw well at an independent club, not only works for the artist, it supports the club, it supports the eco-system.

Playa Hermosa is spectacular. You can drive and park a few yards from the beach, walk through the mangrove and take it all in.
El Zonte is more walkable imo but Uvita's beaches are hard to beat.
Can't go wrong at either destination and being able to pay in Bitcoin makes both places stand out. 🔥

But with AI music topping the charts on Spotify, this is par for the course.
We lost 2 generations to live music, fine arts and theatre.
Hollywierd hijacked the brains of video kids. Centralized music formatted on millennial woops, so as auto-tuned tracks all sound the same, creative listening is lost. No one paints when LLMs fill canvases in seconds. Theatre, like Jazz and Blues is dead.
Silver lining - Nostr and Bitcoin will fuel a renaissance of sorts, where a human that can produce music acoustically (the guitar at a campfire) or sing in tune without a machine or put color from a brush on tactile media, will amaze and confound the masses as an alchemist was able to in the dark ages.
AI and robotics dazzle today but they are a mimic with no breath, no soul. The connection with human spirit will cut through the dystopia.
#Freedom from the simulation will be the prize for some but not for all.
My bet is on those who do the work and choose wisely for the win!

I just watched a Fender promo and that explains a lot. Bluetooth brings in a playback track. That makes sense now. The presets get dialed in through an app by the looks of things, also Bluetooth connected I presume.
So on a live gig, you'd still need to send out through the mini jack (headphones) to either another wireless pack or tethered to the rig. I can see how you could in theory DI to the PA or into a channel over a wireless pack.
Sure makes wrecking out simple 😅

The really cool part is this project realese is still alpha and to see what they've accomplished to this point bodes very well for advancements to come.
I am looking seriously at integrating this directly into an app I'm close to shipping. This handles the payments "tips" engages viewers and simplifies the UX.
